Our Week in 4K

March 18-22, 2024

Monday:

*Our letter this week is Pp, our number is 14, and the Word of the Week is “that.”   *We read House Sweet House.  *In art class we started tracing an egg shape for a future project.  *Ms. Frosch modeled how to draw a house by using different shapes.

Tuesday:

*In small groups this week we are rhyming and building shapes.  *Rhyming words have the same ending chunk.  *We reread House Sweet House.  We identified things that are usually the same about houses.    

Thursday:

*We read If I Built a School.  We are getting excited for the new entrance and office area at the WLC!  *We identified things that can be different about houses.  *In Phy. Ed. we played a fun game where we had to find colorful eggs.

Friday:

*We read If I Built a House.  Ask me about some of the crazy rooms that were in the house.  *During our social lesson we read the book My Mouth is a Volcano.  Ask me what it means to have a volcano mouth.  *We started 3rd quarter testing this week.  Our name writing skills have improved significantly since the start of 4K!

Next Week:

We will be learning about the letter Bb and the number 15.
