Our Week in 4K

March 25-29, 2024

Monday:

*Our letter this week is Bb, our number is 15, and the Word of the Week is “good.”  *We read the book Build it From A-Z.  *We used pictures to help us identify the names of building jobs.

Tuesday:

*In small groups we are playing board games and making the letter B.  *We read Building a House and reviewed some of the workers that are needed to build a house such as electricians, plumbers, painters, and masons.  *We identified tools that can be found in a toolbox. 

Thursday:

*There are new toys!  Ask me what and who I played with.  *We identified the safety gear that people wear while building.  Ask me who got dressed up like a construction worker and what they wore.  *During our social lesson we watched a Wondergrove Kids video about being a good sport.  

Friday:

  *No School

Next Week:

We will be learning about the letter Rr and the number 16.  Our new study will be Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

*No School- March 29, April 26th, and May 27th  *Creative Expressions Night- May 7th  *Last day of school- June 6th  *End of the Year 4K/EC Party at the Park- June 5th at South Park.  More info to come!

If you have any small/medium non-working electronics or toys please send them into school. We will disassemble the items in our science area this month and then recycle them.  (ex. radio, robot, vhs/dvd player, etc.)
