Update Sooqr Feed (Search)

At the top of our platform we have a search bar, where our visitors can try to find the right product. This search bar is created and updated by Sooqr, an external platform.

Whenever something changes for a product, i.e. the name, price, and/or image, this change should be visible immediately in the search results. Because this is demanding quite much for our systems, the information only gets updated automatically once per day (at night). This means that you need to force an update sometimes manually, in order to get your changes visible in the search results.

For this, you can follow the steps below.

Generate new Sooqr feed

• Log in to the backend of the Magento webshop

• Go to Stores > Settings > Configuration

• Scroll down to Magmodules > Sooqr Connect

• Scroll down to Feeds and click "Generate"

• This will take a few minutes, please wait until this is done before continuing to the next step

Force update of Sooqr feed

• Log in to the system of Sooqr (https://my.sooqr.com/)

• At the right upper corner, select the webshop where you want to force the update of the feed

• At the left side, click Data > Data Feeds

• Press the button "Refresh"

Check if update was correct

• Go to the webshop you just updated

• Do a check if your change has been updated in the search results
