Create a new product

In order to create a new product, you need to take the following steps in account.

• Log in to the backend of a webshop

• Go to Catalog > Products

• At the right upper corner select "Add Product" and select "Simple Product"

Upper section

• Enable Product: Yes

• Attribute Set: Change to "SolverMedia"

• Name / Prodotto: Enter the product name

• Article code / Codice fabbricante: Enter the manufacturer's code for the product (!) VERY IMPORTANT

• SKU: Enter the EAN code of the product

• URL Key: Enter the URL-key you want the product to be found on. Normally you "translate" the product's name to lower cases and change spaces to dashes, i.e.:

  • DAB Jet 102 M

  • dab-jet-102-m

• Manufacturer / Produttore: Select the manufacturer

• Warranty / Garanzia: Select how many years of warranty the customer gets on this product

• Short Description: The short description that appears on the product listing page, as well as the product detail page in green.

• Description: The big product text on the product detail page

• Tip van Niels / Suggerimento di Filippo: If available, enter a tip for the particular product

• Pluspunten / Vantaggi: Pro's, separated by an enter (line break)

• Minpunten / Svantaggi: Cons, separated by an enter (line break)

• Weight / Peso: Weight of the product

• Enable product: Set to Yes

• Quantity: Enter the quantity of the item we have on stock

Aanvullende informatie

• This section contains attributes where you can specify certain specifications which appear as a specification on the product detail page

• The attributes that are not Italian, are not used on the platform

Pompconfigurator

• This section contains attributes where you can enter the yield table of the product, which then will appear on the product detail page for selfpriming pumps and borehole pumps only.

Images And Videos

• In this section you can add images to the product

Layered navigation

• In this section you can find the attributes that are used to filter the right article in the product listing page (left navigation). Without entering these attributes, the product will not appear when you are filtering the results in the frontend.

Soort water PDP

• Here you can determine what kind of water this pump can pump, which will appear on the product detail page. If it's not a pump you're adding, please skip this section.

Prijzen

• Price: Enter the price of the product

• Special Price: Enter the promotional price of the product, when there is a promotion

• Tax Class: Always select "Products with standard VAT rate"

• (DAB) Niet standaard op voorraad: Set this attribute to "Yes" whenever the item is not being sent through the own warehouse, but from a DAB warehouse. This setting will force the system to load the available quantities from the DAB warehouse that is configured by our IT team. If the DAB warehouse code changes for some reason, please contact Alex Timmer.

Related Products, Up-Sells and Cross-Sells

• Related products, also known as "Accessories", to be shown on the product detail page

• Upsells, also known as "Best alternatives", to be shown on the product detail page

• Crosssells are accessories that you want to show in the shopping cart whenever the main product is part of your shopping cart

Type

• Select the type of pump over here. If it's not a pump, or your category is not available, please skip this section.

Sooqr

• Tipo di pompa dell'acqua: Select the type of pump over here. If it's not a pump, or your category is not available, please skip this section.

• Tipo di acqua: Select the water types this pump can pump

After you have added the product, the product will be visible for public.

You can visit the product by selecting the URL Key of the product (upper section) and paste it behind the shop-URL, i.e.

• URL Key: dab-jet-102-m

• Shop URL: https://www.pompaacquashop.it

• Page to visit of the new product: https://www.pompaacquashop.it/dab-jet-102-m

By default, this product has not been added to a category.

You can add a product to a category by going to Catalog > Categories.

• Select the category where you want to add the product to

• Click on the section "Products in Category"

• Press "Reset Filter"

• Search for the product and check the checkbox of the product

• Save the category
