Class of 1999

Laura (Allen) Weeks earned a MAT and Library Media Certification from College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2007. She is a a school counseling secretary and service learning coordinator for Calvert County Public Schools at Huntingtown High School.

Alison Beach is a human resources generalist at Euler Hermes ACI.

Caron Ellzey Inglis earned a MS in School Psychology from Syracuse University in 2007. She is a school psychologist a Crisis Prevention Institute  (CPI) instructor for Los Alamos (NM) Public Schools. A BCBA, she is also the owner of Los Alamos Behavior Support Services, LLC,  providing behavioral support services to youth, families, and schools in northern New Mexico.

John Fisca is a pilot for US Airways.

Calley (Leimbach) Goostree is a family services care worker for the St. Mary's Dept. of Family Services.

Aarati Kasturirangan earned a MA and then a PhD in Community and Prevention Research in Psychology from University of Illinois in 2008. She is the director of programs for the Bread & Roses Community Fund.

Alise Nacson earned a MPH from GWU in 2004. She is an associate director of patient centered outcomes research at Sarepta Therapeutics.

Jessica Romano earned a MEd from Old Dominion University in 2003. She is a teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools.

Robb Stout is a director of marketing & brand strategy for Buckley, LLP. 

Pete Sweigard is an assistant managing editor (digital) for The Baltimore Sun and managing editor for The Athletic Philadelphia.

Gia (Trionfo) Hooper is a founding partner of Karmic Consulting, which offers comprehensive staffing services focused on the areas of technology, finance and accounting, human resources and administrative services.  She has been teaching yoga since 2004 (E-RYT 500)  and in 2010, she started her company BMoreYoga, LLC teaching private, semi-private, family and corporate yoga.

Kimberly Benefield David earned a MA in Clinical Child Psychology (specialty in School Psychology) from California State University, East Bay in 2001.  She is a clinical child psychology licensed school psychologist working as a partner for Creative Living Therapies which provides comprehensive mental health services and psychological assessment. Kim specializes  in working with children with ADHD, Autism, emotional concerns, and social skills delays.  Kim also provides parenting classes and gives presentations on ADHD, bullying and other counseling topics.  Kim has worked for Milpitas Unified School District, Anne Arundel County Public Schools and the Palm Beach County School District-division of charter schools.  She has also worked in private practice in Jupiter, FL.  Kim is a trained 504 coordinator and is able to consult with parents on the best way to address medical issues in both private and public school settings. Kim is a licensed school psychologist in the state of Florida. 

Vicki (Campbell Taylor) Bradeen earned a MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Social Work in 2003. She is a clinical care manager for APS Healthcare, Inc.

Suzanne (Chwirut) Trotter earned a MS in School Psychology from UMCP in 2004, and a MSW from Boston University in 2014. She is a school consultant for Catholic Charities of Baltimore.

Alex Czopp earned a MS in Social Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2001 and a PhD in Experimental Social Psychology from the same institution in 2004. After spending four years at the University of Toledo, he joined the Department of Psychology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. He is an associate professor there teaching courses on social psychology, statistics, and research methods. His research examines issues related to stereotyping and prejudice.

Benjamin Davis earned a MPH in Biostatistics from UCLA in 2001, and a MD from Ross University School of Medicine in 2005. He is physician at a nonprofit hospital in western VA.

Kara Donaldson earned a JD from the University of Baltimore in 2002. She is an adjunct professor (at Anne Arundel Community College and The Catholic University of America) and works for the Office of the Public Defender. Kara also has a personal side business, Dynamic Properties and Contracting, LLC.

Michele Ehler earned a MS in I/O Psychology at the University of Wisconsin in 2001. She is an associate director of HR and learning transformation lead for UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company, in Atlanta, GA.  She recently completed a 3-year expatriate assignment living in Brussels, Belgium.

Kerry (Haffey) Condit earned a PhD in Psychology from Auburn University in 2005. She is a child psychologist for Edward C. Taylor, PhD, PL in FL.

Timothy Herzog earned a MEd in Counseling/Sport Psychology from Boston University in 2001, a MS in Clinical Psychology, from Loyola College in 2007, and an EdD in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in 2011. He is self-employed as a counselor and mental performance coach for Reaching Ahead, LLC. Tim is also an adjunct faculty member for Saybrook University, co-teaching PhD courses and continuing education courses in psychophysiology and optimal functioning. Additionally he serves as an adjunct professor at Howard Community College teaching an undergraduate course in sport and exercise psychology.

Andrew Kolody earned a MA in General Psychology from the Catholic University of America in 1999, and a certificate in Gerontology from the University of Georgia in 2002. He is a tax compliance officer for the Internal Revenue Service. He also serves as secretary to two groups of revenue agents.

Jack Levinson is a regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic at SunPower Corporation.

Kelly (Lufburrow) Sage earned a MS in Community Health from Towson University in 2001. She is an associate in human and health services at Lufburrow & Company.

Erin Mannion earned a MSW (Clinical Social Work) University of Maryland Baltimore in 2011. She is a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice in psychotherapy.

Janet Marshall is a project analyst III for FGS, LLC.

Jessica (Deutchman) Mohler earned a MS in Kinesiology ( Sport and Exercise Psychology) from UMCP in 2000, and a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University of Maryland in 2005. She is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2004, she was commissioned as a lieutenant in the United States Navy. Since 2011, she has worked at the United States Naval Academy as the assistant director and coordinator of sport psychology services within the Midshipmen Development Center (MDC), providing both counseling and mental skills training to student athletes, teams and military groups. v Since 2016 she has served as the vice chair and member of the NCAA's Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports Committee. Deborah Pollack earned a M.A. in Psychology from Duquesne University in 2000, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University in 2006. She is a assistant professor of psychology at Utica College. A qualitative researcher, her work is informed by a feminist-psychodynamic perspective. She is also a clinical assistant professor in the psychiatry department at SUNY Upstate Medical University and a clinical supervisor and instructor in the psychology department at Syracuse University.

Karen Schroll earned a MS in survey methodology from UMCP in 2004. She is a senior study director at Westat.

Dana Veitch-Schropp started as an intern with NAVAIR under the outstanding scholar program and is currently a contract specialist at the Naval Air Station in Lexington Park. She earned an MS in Business Administration and Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2000. Dana is responsible for procuring hardware and services for the V-22 Osprey program.

Allison (Wagner) Pyles earned a BSN at UMB. She is a registered nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Patricia Wagner earned a MA in Education from College of Notre Dame of MD in 2002. She is a contract specialist for NAVAIR.

Christopher Zinaich is regional sales manger (GA/TN) for Cargill and marketing associate for Sysco foods.

Honora K. Batelka earned a MA in Leadership and Teaching (Education) from College of Notre Dame of Maryland and has her teaching certification (Special Education) and Administrator I/II Certification. She previously served as the supervisor of special education for St. Mary's Ciunty Public Schools for 10 years and is now a principal for SMCPS at Ridge Elementary.

Lakisha Bratcher earned a MSW from University of Maryland - Baltimore in 2007. She is a licensed clinical social worker based out of Washington, D.C. 

Anne Britner earned a Certificate in Digital Design (photography and video) from Corcoran College of Art and Design in 2001 and has pursued some coursework towards a MRes in Neuroscience. She is a music editor for Laterax Recordings in the Netherlands.

Amy Cox is a senior director of people strategy for Sapient.

Tiana Davis earned a MSW from UMD School of Social Work (Policy and Administration) in 2003. She is a policy director for equity and justice for the Center for Children's Law and Policy.

Brian Doss earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from UCLA in 2004. He is an associate professor of psychology at the University of Miami, Coral Gables. His research focuses on the effects of couple therapy and online relationship interventions such as www.OurRelationship.com.

Ana Franco-Watkins earned a MA in Psychology from The College of William & Mary in 1999, and a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from UMCP in 2004. She is currently serving as interim dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University. Beforehand, she served as chair of the Department of Psychological Sciences at Auburn University for four years. She participated in the SEC Academic Leadership Development Program, is a 2021HERS Leadership Institute alum, and chaired the steering committee for Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) at Auburn University.  

Kristi Jacobs-Woods is a realtor/team leader for Radcliffe Realty Group and an independent contractor/consultant for marketing/communications.

Viki Johnson completed some coursework in I/O psychology at UMCP and earned a MS in Epidemiology from The George Washington University in 2008. She is a systems performance analyst for  ARINC/Rockwell Collins IMS, a company providing avionics and information technology systems and services to governmental agencies and aircraft manufacturers.

Adrienne (Miller) Uphoff earned a MD from VCU School of Medicine in 2017. She is a resident physician at Carilion Clinic of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

Ryan Voegtlin earned a MS in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2001. He is the director of student and school support for Anne Arundel County (MD) Public Schools.

Elisabeth Whitehead earned a MFA in Poetry from University of Iowa in 2006. She is an assistant teaching professor for Wake Forest University.

Leah Bentley earned a MA in Arts Administration from New York University in 1998. She is an assistant vice president for development for Columbia University Medical Center.

Lisa Flower is a family investment specialist for the State of Maryland Department of Human Resources.

James Griffith earned a JD from University of Maryland Law School in 1999. He is a self-employed realtor for Long & Foster in TX.

Anne (Lawrence) Jenkins earned a MSW from Ohio State University in 1999.  She is a licensed clinical social worker providing outpatient services at Behavioral Health Partners of Frederick for Sheppard Pratt Health Systems. She provides individual and family therapy addressing a diversity of presenting issues, though her clinical focus in her work has been in supporting the process of healing from trauma. Anne is a certified massage therapist and integrates this in her clinical practice through mindfulness work and teaching self-care strategies such as progressive muscle relaxation and self-massage techniques. 

Emily Lewis earned a certificate in web design & development from The George Washington University in 2003. She is an accessibility analyst/universal design specialist for Knowability in NM.

Barbara Manankil is a special education teacher for Baltimore County Public Schools.

Michael Pfaltzgraff earned a BS in Fire Service Administration from University of Maryland. He is a battalion chief with the Anne Arundel County (MD) Fire Department.
