Physical Therapy

Alex Tomarchio '24 served as a well-being associate at Erickson Senior Living for 20 months after graduation; it was a role they created just for her because they were intrigued by her SMP research on "Embracing Old Age: Frameworks of Successful and Harmonious Aging." Because of her influence, the company switched over to use the term “harmonious” over “successful” when used with “living” and “aging”.  She is now an intake specialist/PT technician at Harbor Physical Therapy in MD.

Paige (Wilde) Horsmon '21 earned a DPT at University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2024. She is a physical therapist at Pivot Physical Therapy in Southern MD.

Jay Hammett '20 earned a DPT at the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2024. He is a physical therapist at True Sports Physical Therapy in MD.

Megan Long '16 was an ER scribe at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital and a physical therapy technician at KConway Physical Therapy in the year after graduation. She earned a DPT from  Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020, and is a physical therapist at Georgetown University Hospital.

Nicholas Gay '15 earned a DPT from Marymount University in 2019. He is a clinic director at Bethesda Physical Therapy.

Zachary Miller '15 is pursuing graduate studies in physical therapy at UIW School of Physical Therapy in TX.  

Sean Peacock '15 is a physical therapy aide (PTA) at Sports and Orthopedic Therapy Services, LLC.

Thomas Rados '13 earned a DPT at Touro College School of Health Sciences in 2019. He is a physical therapist at Rose Physical Therapy Group in MD.

Christina (Parr) Minnick '11 earned a DPT from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2016, and became a  board certified pediatric clinical specialist in 2021. She is a staff physical therapist for pediatric patients (0-21) at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital and PRN physical therapist for pediatric patients at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct faculty member teaching 3rd year DPT students at University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

Joanna (Gibson) Bobbit '09 earned a MA in Elementary Education and Teaching from Trinity Washington University in 2011, and a DPT from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences in 2023. She is a physical therapist at Park Nicollet Health Services in MN. She spent some time as a circus artist and offering afterschool classes in aerial and ground-based acrobatics. 

Alison Ulino '06 earned a DPT at UMB in 2009. She is a physical therapist at Clinton Physical Therapy Center in TN.
