Emily Shipley '23 is pursuing a MAEd in Counselor Education - Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Virginia Tech with an expected graduation in 2025.

She is a graduate assistant for Student Affairs Stategic Planning and Assessment at William & Mary and clinical intern at Free Spirit Counseling and Collaborative.


Jacinda Thomas '22 earned a MSW from University of Mayland, Baltimore School of Social Work in 2024, and is serving as a counselor in New York.

Ariel Graham' 21 earned a MS in Counseling Psychology at Frostburg University in 2024.

Layla Purdy '21 earned a certificate for mental health service apprentice (USAF) at the Medication Education and Training Campus in 2021, and is now pursuing a MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology at UMBC. She is a legal advocate/case manager working with veterans at Bergmann & Moore, LLC. She also works part-time as a behavioral health technician for the Air National Guard.

Vera Armstead '20 earned a MS in Clinical Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore, and passed her licensing exam to become a LMSW in 2022. She will pursue work as a therapist after taking some parental leave.

Max Groen '20 earned an EdM in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Sport Psychology from Boston University in 2022. He is school adjustment & mental health counselor and head mental performance coach at Watertown High School. 

Alex Rennich '20 earned a MS in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology with a concentration in counseling psychology at University of Baltimore in 2023, and plans to become a LPC. She is an intern/student clinician at Renewal Counseling Center, Inc. and a crisis counselor for Crisis Text Line. 

Kendall Zacker '20 is pursuing a MSW at Salisbury University with an expected graduation in 2022. She is a PM counselor for Discovery Behavioral Health: Mood Anxiety and a dog sitter at Rover.com Sitters. 

Elizabeth Allnutt '19 spent time after graduation serving Americorps as a social/emotional resilience coach at an elementary school in Juneau, Alaska. She earned a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymont University in 2023.

Ashantee Barnwell '19 earned a MA in Counseling at Northwestern University in 2022. As a LGPC she is a graduate intern therapist at Villa Maria Behavioral Health Clinic in MD.

Emily Coogan '19 is pursuing a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marymount University with an expected graduation in 2024. 

Hannah Vickery '19 earned a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificiate in Thanatology at Hood College in 2023.

Minjee Kim '18 earned a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2020. Soon after, she became a licensed clinician (LGPC, NCC) and opened up her own private practice, M. Kim Wellness, LLC, which she ran for a couple of years. She is now the director of marketing and business development at iMind Behavioral Health in MD. 

Caroline Robertson '18 earned a MS in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland in 2021.  She is a mental health counselor at Balance Point Wellness, LLC. 

Whittni Pickens '18 earned a MA in Counseling from Towson University in 2020. A LGPC, she is a child and family therapist at Gifts, LLC in Baltimore, MD.

Madison Tacka-Spinatto '18 is pursuing a MSW in Clinical SocialWork from University of Maryland School of Social Work with an expected graduation in 2023. She  is a therapeutic support specialist and social work intern at Catholic Charities of Baltimore.

Robert Binger '17 earned a MS in Counseling Psychology from Frostburg State University in 2020. He is a rehabilitation specialist at Clinical Solutions, Inc.

Gillian Justice '17 is a behavior support clinician for Compass Counseling Services of Northern Virginia.

Neena Prabhu '17 earned a MS in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University of Maryland in 2020. She is a mental health therapist at Thrive Therapy MD. 

David Adashek '16 earned a MS in clinical professional counseling at Loyola University in 2022. He is a  psychotherapist in private practice at Anchor Counseling Centers.

Claire Cohen '16 is pursuing a MSW (clinical practice) from Boston University with an expected graduation in 2020. She is a counselor at Women's Health Services in MA. 

Carmen Condelli '16 relocated to Sunshine Coast, Queensland. She is a mental health support worker at AusCare Home & Community Care Services and works for Varsity Tutors.

Jonathan (JP) Herald '16 earned a MSW with a focus on clinical work with children and families from UMD School of Social Work in 2019, and officially became a LMSW that year. He was most recently a mental health therapist at Youth and Family sercies YMCA in Silver Spring, MD. He has relocated to TX.

Maria Jimenez '16 earned a MSW (clinical track and psychodynamic concentration) from the University of Chicago in 2018. A LCSW-C, she is a social worker and psychotherapist at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Kitt Klassen '16 earned MA in Counseling Psychology from Towson University in 2022, and became a LGPC that year. They are an associate psychotherapist at the Maryland Center for Gender and Initimacy.

Nicole Logan '16 earned a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Hood College and became a LGPC in 2021. She is a psychotherapist at Dagenhart and Associates, LLC in Frederick, MD.

Kristin (Rolfs) Babendreier '16  earned a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University-San Diego in 2023. She is a children, youth and family clinican at the Community Research Foundation in the greater San Diego area.

Victoria (Williford) Phelps '16 earned a certificate from the psychiatric/mental health technician associate program at Auburn University in 2017, and  is working towards a certificate in Provisional Community Work Incentives Coordinator from Virginia Common Wealth University during 2019-2020. She is a benefits case manager for the  Maryland Benefits Counseling Network.

Caroline (White) Kuttler '16 earned a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2018. She is a licensced profesional counselor at River Wards Wellness Collective in PA.

Bethany Yates '16 earned a MSW from UMD Baltimore in August 2017. A LMSW, she provides holistic therapy approaches to clients with various mental health diagnoses and trauma histories at the Therapy Cafe in Lexington Park, MD.

Cameron Di Leo '15 earned a MS in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland in 2022. He is a LGPC based in Towson, MD.

Andrea Ellis '15 earned a MS in Counseling Psychology (Community Mental Health) from McDaniel College in 2019. She is a LGPC working with children and adults at Community Mental Health Associates in MD.

Nicole Jackson-Wolf '15 earned a MEd in Counseling and Human Services at Lehigh University in 2017. She an outpatient therapist at Pennsylvania Counseling Services. She is married to Jacob Jackson-Wolf '15.

Jessie Nolasco-Sandino '15 served as a community health volunteer for the Peace Corps stationed in Asunción, Paraguay for nearly three years after graduation from SMCM. She is earned a MSW from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2022. Now a LMSW, she is a bilingual psychotherapist at Quince Orchard Psychotherapy. Jessie has had prior experience working as an ABA therapist for Brighter Strides ABA in Gaithersburg, MD, and is happy to speak to anyone interested in the ABA field. 

Adriana Castro Rossel '15 earned a MSW (Advanced Generalist Practice and Programming) from Columbia University in 2018. A LICSW, she is a part-time private practice therapist for Barth Therapy in the Wasington, D.C. area.

Jake Jackson-Wolf '15 earned a MEd in Counseling and Human Services at Lehigh University in 2017,  a post-master's certificate from University of Baltimore in 2019, and his LGPC in 2019. He is a psychotherapist at B'well Counseling Services, LLC. He is married to Nicole Jackson-Wolf'15.

Anya (Anna Agarunova) Hain '14  earned a MA in Counseling Psychology from Towson University in 2016. A LCPC, she is a mental health counselor for Life Renewal Services and at Restorative Counseling and Wellness Center. She is also a volunteer EMT.

Kelly Dalrymple '14 earned a MEd in Counseling and Development with a clinical mental health concentration from Winthrop University in 2019. She is a NCC and LPCA in NC. 

LaShana Lewis '14 earned a MA in Mental Health Counseling at Bowie State University in 2017, and is pursuing a PhD in Psychology at California State University with an expected graduation in 2025. She is case manager at University of Maryland Global Campus.

Ariana Gangloff '13 earned a MA in Art Therapy from The George Washington University in 2016. An LCPC and LGPAT, she is a school-based mental health therapist at Family Services in Gaithersburg and self-employed as an art therapist for All Things Are Possible, Service, LLC.

Amy Goss '13 earned a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at Syracuse University in 2015. She worked as a volunteer mental health provider at Health Brigade in VA for nearly four years before opening her own private practice in May 2019, specializing in providing services for LGBTQ individuals with a positive psychology approach.

Samantha Kirk '13 earned a MSW at Boston College in 2018. She is a social worker in Brookline, MA specializing in clinical social work.

Kim LaBarge '13 took part in the 2013 4K for Cancer Inc, a 4,000+ mile trip across the U.S to offer hope, inspiration and support to cancer communities and then served as the program coordinator of volunteer engagement for Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults for two years. She went on to earn a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2018. A LPCC-S and NCC, Kim is an executive director for Selena House Outpatient in the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area. 

Lauren Tanman '13 earned a MSW from North Carolina State University in 2018, and became a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) that year. She is a family and child outpatient therapist at Carolina Outreach, LLC in Durham, NC.

Crystal Barnes '12 is a residential rehabilitation associate at Pathways, Inc.

Brittany (Lena) Nicodemus '12 earned a MA in Counseling Psychology (Expressive Arts) at the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2015.  A LMFT, she is a trauma-informed therapist working with both children and adults in CA using an approach that combines humanistic and feminist psychology. In May 2019, she began pursuing an MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University  with the intent to become a BCBA.

Brian Kok '12 earned a MS in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University  in 2017, and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the same institution in 2019 (receiving an award for an outstanding dissertation). He completed a predoctoral internship at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Jennifer Stewart '12 earned a MS in Counseling Psychology from Towson University in 2015. She is a LPCP and behavioral healthcare advocate for Optum.

Jacinta Casey '11 earned a MSW from University of MD School of Social Work in  2016. She is an intake and assessment therapist at Harmony Bay Wellness in the Baltimore area.

Kaitlin (Kiki Gaylor) Kavanuagh '11 earned a MS in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University of Maryland in 2015. She is a licensed psychological associate at Kennedy Krieger Institute. 

Kyle Jernigan '11 earned a MSW (Clinical Social Work - Mental Health) from UMD, Baltimore School of Social Work in 2015. A LCSW, he is a clinical social worker at Baltimore Washington Counseling Center.

Mercedes Peterman '11 earned a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University School of Education in 2018. A LGPC, she is a vocational rehabilitation therapist for the MD Division of Rehabilitation Services. 

Christie Tawiah '11 earned a MSW with focus in clinical/medical social work from Columbia University in the City of New York in 2018. She is a mental health clinician at Compass Counseling Services of Virginia.

Julie (Faggio) Fischer '10 earned a MS in School Counseling at Loyola University MD in 2012. As a LCPC she opened her own private practice, Howard County Psychological Services, LLC, in 2021.

Emily (Myers) Lamoreau '10 earned a MS in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2015. She is a staff therapist for the Counseling and Psychological Services of the Wellness Center at SMCM.

Taylore Mountain '10 earned a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University in 2012, and a MBA with a concentration in Hospitality Leadership from DePaul University in 2018.  She dreams of one day owning and running multiple bed & breakfasts. Meanwhile, she is a licensed associate marriage and family therapist for the Chicago Center for Relationship Counseling. In 2019, Taylore started a business offering services as an executive coach and relationships specialist at Taylored Living, LLC, in Chicago, IL. 

Erika (Delanoy) Flax '09 earned a MSW at The University of Texas at Austin in 2011. A LCSW, she is a therapist at Beckner Counseling in VA.

Hannah Fegley '09 earned a MSW from Smith College School for Social Work in 2013. She is a clinician and program manager for Johns Hopkins Student Assistance Program, providing therapy services for graduate students and their families, including intake, treatment planning, therapy, and case management. 

Kayla Mangen '09 earned a MS in Mental Health Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University in 2012. She is a licensced clinical professional counselor at Congruent Counseling Services.

Jennifer "Niki" Novak '09 earned a MS in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chestnut Hill College in 2011. She is currently a licensed marriage and family therapist at DC Counseling and Psychotherapy. She is married to Seth LaShier (09' History) and they live in Washington, D.C. with their french bull dog (Lucy) and cat (Comer).  

Samantha (Ortiz) Salerno '09 earned a MSW (Clinical Mental Health) from University of MD - School of Social Work in 2011. She is a LCSW at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in MD.

Marian Stukes '09 earned a MS in Clinical Counseling at Johns Hopkins University in 2012.  A Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II), Marian opened a private practice, Flames of Change Counseling, LLC, in 2018. Flames of Change Counseling offered anger management programs for adults seeking to tame their anger's flames. In June 2019, Marian graduated from the Iylana Vansant Life Coach Program of the Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development and transitioned to her new career of being a spiritual life coach. 

Melodi Wilkie '09 earned a MA in Clinical Psychology from Towson University in 2011. A LCPC, she is a coordinator of adult services at Key Point Health Services, Inc.

Marybeth Heather '08 earned a MS in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2013. Marybeth began pursuing a EdD in Counselor Education and Supervision program at Argosy University in August 2017, and transitioned to earn a PhD in the same field at Lindsey Wilson College in 2019. She earned a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Lindsey Wilson College in 2021. Previously a supervising therapist (LCPC) for Sheppard Pratt Health System Outpatient Clinic in Howard County (formerly Way Station, Inc.), Marybeth is the professional networking chair for the MD Counseling Association (MCA) and president elect for the Maryland Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (MACES). She is also a reflective practitioner supervisor at The Family Institute of Northwestern University Program for practicum counseling students and a part-time lecturer at University of Southern California. In July 2022, she opened a group practice offering teleheath services, AllowHealth, LLC.

Brian Mansky '08 earned a MSW from the Universities at Shady Grove in 2019. He is a bilingual transitional child trauma therapist at The Tree House Child Advocacy Center in Rockville, MD.

Brittanny Wilson '08 earned a MA in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. She is the child and teen bereavement coordinator for Calvert Hospice News and Events and a graduate therapist for Pastoral Counseling Center of St. Mary's.

Jenn (Connolly) Sevier '07 earned a MS in Counseling Psychology at Lyola University of Maryland in 2009. A LPC, LPCP and NCC, she is the owner of and licensed professional counselor at Authentic Therapy Services in PA. 

Jeanne Sutton '07 earned a MS in Counseling at Loyola University of Maryland in 2007, and a MS in Integrative Counseling Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies in 2010. In 2015, she became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California. She worked for a number of years as a recovery management program supervisor for Women's Recovery Association in San Francisco, CA. She now has a private practice (Contemplative Psychotherapy & Coaching) and also provides therapeutic services to patients in the Addictions Services Programs at El Camino Hospital. 

Naomi (Tranen) Haberman '07 earned a MSW with focus in Mental Health from UMD School of Social Work in 2012. She is a crisis intervention specialist on the special education team at Waterloo Elementary in Howard County Public Schools. In 2019, she opened a private practice, Tides of Change Wellness, which provides a comprehensive DBT program, in addition to traditional outpatient mental health therapy. The practice specializes in treating children and adolescents with self harming thoughts and behaviors, as well as vets and first responders. 

Diana Gayle '06 completed her studies in Mental Health Therapy at Capella University in 2012. She is a CBI clinician for Outreach Solution, Inc., and a residential counselor for Emerge, Inc.

Conny (Maslyar) Wulff '06 earned a MSW (with concentration in Families and Youth at Risk) from the joint program of North Carolina A&T State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011. Her LCSW was earned in 2011. She is a Nationally Registered TF-CBT provider by the NC Child Treatment Program and a Quality-rated CPT provider by Duke EPIC.  She is an independent therapist at Conny Wulff, MSW, LCSW, PLLC. 

Katelyn (Opel) Alcamo '06 earned a MS in Family Studies (Marriage and Family Therapy) from UMCP in 2008. She is the founder and licensed clinical marriage and family therapist at Family Center of Bethesda. She also serves as secretary to the Collaborative Dispute Resolution Professionals (CDRP) group.

Kate Dansie Bowman '05 earned a MSW (Clinical-Mental Health) from UMD School of Social Work in 2007. She is a clinical psychotherapist for the Eating Disorder Center.

Sarah (Sloane) Donovan '05 earned a MS in Clinical Counseling at Johns Hopkins University and completed Charm City Yoga 200-hour Teacher Training. She is mental health therapist at Dr. Brad Piergrossi and Associates. Sarah is also a licensed supervisor for LGPC's in the state of Maryland and supervises Masters' level students in clinical counseling. 

Kyle Bishop '04 earned a MS in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 and a EdD in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in 2013. Kyle went on to earn an MBA from UMUC in Business Administration in 2015.  She is a senior vice president for behavioral health and substance use at Children's Home Society of Florida. She also serves as a contract mental health therapist for Spring Health and contract clinical supervisor for Motivo.

Janeen Norvell-Rao '00 earned a MSW in Clinical Mental Health from MD School of Social Work in 2005. She is a licensed clinical social worker/registered play therapist at Behavioral Health Partners for Sheppard Pratt System.

Erin Mannion '98 earned a MSW (Clinical Social Work) University of Maryland Baltimore in 2011. She is a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice in psychotherapy.

Anne (Lawrence) Jenkins '96 earned a MSW from Ohio State University in 1999.  She is a licensed clinical social worker providing outpatient services at Behavioral Health Partners of Frederick for Sheppard Pratt Health Systems. She provides individual and family therapy addressing a diversity of presenting issues, though her clinical focus in her work has been in supporting the process of healing from trauma. Anne is a certified massage therapist and integrates this in her clinical practice through mindfulness work and teaching self-care strategies such as progressive muscle relaxation and self-massage techniques. 

Lakisha Bratcher '97 earned a MSW from University of Maryland - Baltimore in 2007. She is a licensed clinical social worker based out of Washington, D.C. 

Cara Peacock '94 earned a MSW (focus on clinical social work with a family and children specialization) from University of Maryland Baltimore  in 1996. She is a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice  of psychotherapy in TN. She is married to Chris Hendrick '94.

Thaeda (Jackson) Franz '92 earned a MA in Counseling from Liberty University in 2004, and earned a certificate from One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in 2018.  She is a LPC for Safe and Sound Counseling in PA, and an interfaith minister.

David Ring '91 earned a MEd in Counseling and Administration. He is a special education behavior management specialist for the Calvert County Public School System. 

Thomas Moran '91 earned a MDiv from Capital Bible Seminary in 2006 and a MA in Professional Counseling from the same institution in 2008. He is a mental health therapist for Safe Harbor Christian Counseling.

Tori Wilson '89 earned a MA in Counseling from Bowie State University in 1992 and completed the Post-Graduate Certification Program in Counseling Psychology at John Hopkins University in 2006. She is a clinical director for The Foundation School.

Grant Steven James '88 earned a MEd in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from Towson University in 1995 and a MA in Liberal and Professional Studies from the same institution in 2002. He is a clinical specialist for USMC-MCCS.
