Alyson Bahel earned a MAT from SMCM in 2014. She is a fifth grade teacher for Howard County Public Schools.

Steve Barnold is a publishing editor for American Psychological Association.

Amy Brakebill earned a MA in Special Education from Liberty University in 2015. She is a special education teacher for Charlottesville City Schools in VA.

Julie (Buonato) Knox earned a MS in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University School of Education in 2019. She is a professional school counselor for Baltimore County Public Schools.

Keber Debebe earned a MSC in in International Human Resource Management from Kingston University in 2015.  She is a human resource information specialist (HRIS) at Georgetown University and HRIS Administrator at ZeniMax Media.

Taylor Dimas earned a MPS in I/O Psychology from UMBC at Shady Grove in 2016. They are an intern at Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and a testing proctor at Carroll Community College.

Adrienne Dink earned a MS in Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018. She is a registered dietitian for  for Healthier Tomorrows in the greater Chicago area.

Katerina (Rina) Dudley earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology at UNC Chapel Hill in 2019. She is completing a post-doctoral internship at Children's National Medical Center.

Cassey( Elder) Povtak started as an account executive at RMR & Associates and then spent two years as a manager of public relations at eTERA Consulting. She is now a business development specialist at Eversheds Sutherland.

Sarah (English) Leisawitz earned a MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University of Maryland in 2016. She is a speech-language pathologist for Howard County Public Schools.

Suzanne Ford is a victim advocate for Anne Arundel County's State's Attorney's Office and a court appointed special advocate of Anne Arundel County for CASA.

Ariana Gangloff earned a MA in Art Therapy from The George Washington University in 2016. An LCPC and LGPAT, she is a school-based mental health therapist at Family Services in Gaithersburg and self-employed as an art therapist for All Things Are Possible, Service, LLC.

Amy Goss earned a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at Syracuse University in 2015. She worked as a volunteer mental health provider at Health Brigade in VA for nearly four years before opening her own private practice in May 2019, specializing in providing services for LGBTQ individuals with a positive psychology approach.

Katherine (Katie) Grein earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame (IN) in 2021. Afterwards she went on to complete a clinical internship with the Salem VA Medical Center, and is scheduled to begin a clinical postdoc position with the Maryland VA healthcare system in September 2021. Before she began her graduate studies, Katie was a research assistant for The Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine). 

Marci Hameroff is an ELA SWD teacher for the Achievement First (a network of K-12 charter schools in CT, NY, and RI) Bushwick Empower Program, an intensive program serving students with disabilities.

Jessica Kajdas earned a MA in Leadership & Special Education from Notre Dame University of Maryland in 2020. She is a case manager and family consultant at Celebrate Ability in MD.

Chance (Hazelton) Smith earned a MAT from SMCM in 2014. She is a real estate agent for Northrop Realty. She is CMO/business owner of ReVive Investing, LLC, a company that "seeks to revitalize communities by giving new life to abandoned and run down properties in the Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Florida, and Illinois areas." Additionally, Chance does contract work as graphic designer.

Leanne Hellstern is a research scientist/engineer I for the Department of Pathology at the University of Washington.

Ariel Hirsh served as an Israel teaching fellow for Masa/ Israel Way in 2013-2014.  She completed an internship at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center before earning a MSW from UMD School of Social Work in 2016.

Lauren Jackson earned a MCP in City and Regional Planning  from Morgan State University in 2017. She is an investigator at Baltimore City Office of Civil Rights.

Janáy Jacobs completed a 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification course. She is a global yoga instructor and owner of Yoga with Nay, LLC in Baltimore. 

Jessica Kadjas earned her MA in Special Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is an employment coordinator at Goodwill Industries of Moncacy Valley, Inc.

Shazia Khan studied speech-lanuage pathology at Loyola University Maryland for a year after graduation and earned a MS in Clinical Psychology at University of Maryland in 2022. She earned a master trainer certification and project manageent support certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2018 and 2019 respectively.  She is an e-learning and content strategy manager at American Psychiatric Association in Washington, D.C.

Samantha Kirk earned a MSW at Boston College in 2018. She is a social worker in Brookline, MA specializing in clinical social work.

Andrew Koch earned a MAS (Master of Aeronautical Science) in Human Factors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2015, and PhD in Aviation from ERAU in October 2022.  Andrew is an engineering psychologist at NAVAIR working in the aeromedical division in the human systems department. Specifically, the physiological and operational performance branch. The goal is to extend our understanding of aviation related physiology and expand our predictive capabilities, especially in terms of medical modeling. Andrew is also an EMT for the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad, media mentor for The RoboBees, a FRC Robotics Team in Southern MD, and adjunct career development instructor for SMCM teaching an externship class focusing on EMS. In August 2022, Andrew was accepted into the NAVAIR Leadership Development Program. 

Christine (Kodluboy) Allen earned a MAT from SMCM in 2014, and became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2023. She is a first grade teacher for St. Mary's County Public Schools.

Laura Koler earned a MAT from SMCM in 2014. She is a PreK teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools at Patterson Park Public Charter School.

Grace Koplow  is a senior analytics manager at Search Discovery in NYC, NY.

Kim LaBarge took part in the 2013 4K for Cancer Inc, a 4,000+ mile trip across the U.S to offer hope, inspiration and support to cancer communities and then served as the program coordinator of volunteer engagement for Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults for two years. She went on to earn a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2018. A LPCC-S and NCC, Kim an executive director for Selena House Outpatient in the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area. 

Claire La Fleur earned a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from University of Virginia in 2017. She did postdoctoral research at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory for a couple years, conducting research to explore the cognitive processes underlying effective cyber defense techniques.  She is now a data scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton in Baltimore, MD.

Delia Ledesma earned a JD from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2016. She is an associate in the family law practice group of The Van Winkle Law Firm

Hannah Martin is a director at Supportive Concepts for Families in PA.

Lydia Martin is a science writing instructor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology's MOSTEC Program, a six-month, online science and engineering program for rising high school seniors from across the country. She enjoys creative writing and has self-published a series of three novels. She maintains a website where she writes weekly webfiction and hosts popular science articles. 

Sebastian Martinez-Grewe is a manager of clinical & corporate contracts resource management at University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). 

Asia (McNeil) Long earned a MAT at SMCM in 2014. After spending seven years in the classroom, she is a customer success manager and associate curriculum writer at Nearpod.

Emily Nielson is director of children's services for Dove Pointe in Salisbury, MD.

Heather Palacorolla earned a PhD in Pharmaceutical Studies from the UMD School of Pharmacy in 2021. She is a a pharmacist at Walgreens.

Samuel Paynter earned a MFA in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in 2016. He is a freelance production designer in Los Angeles.

Kathryn (Katie) Phipps earned a MEd from Lehigh University in 2015 and an EdS in School Psychology from the same institution in 2017.  She is a school psychologist for Harford County Public Schools in MD.

Kate Pinder earned a MA in Quantitative Psychology from James Madison University in 2015. She is an assessment specialist for the College of Business at Western Governors University.

Ryan Plaisance earned a MA in TESOL from UMBC in 2018. Previously an ESOL teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools for a decade, he is now in a sales position at Friends and Family Flooring in MD. 

Thomas Rados earned a DPT at Touro College School of Health Sciences in 2019. He is a physical therapist at Rose Physical Therapy Group in MD.

Marie (Rau) Quinn earned both a MBA and a MFIN from UMD Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2017. She is senior product manager at T. Rowe Price.

Nicole Reidinger completed the Summer Publishing Institute at New York University in 2013 and has taken courses in woodworking and furniture design at Corcoran School of Art. She is the owner of Habitat Woodworks and a middle school math program manager for the Alexandria Seaport Foundation.

Stephanie (Riffle) Bouwer was a medical scribe with ScribeAmerica  for three of her four years at SMCM and for a year after graduation.  She earned an DO at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in May 2020. She is a family medicine resident physician at Penn State College of Medicine.

Jennifer Roth earned a  certificate in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician at the Community College of Baltimore County. She is a junior designer at Pennoni.

Emily (Shafer) Havenstein earned a MS in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2018. She is a an occupational therapist at University of Maryland Medical Center Shock Trauma.

Liza Sitz completed the level one power vinyasa yoga course at Baptiste Yoga Institute in 2013, and 200 hours of teacher training between then and 2014. She earned a BSN in at Georgetown University School of Nursing in 2019. She is a clinical research nurse at National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

David Smith earned a MAT from SMCM in 2014. In March 2018, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.  He completed CSO (Combat Systems Officer) school in 2019, and is stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona serving as an evaluator mission crew commander.

Emma (Sullivan) Coghill earned a MEd in Special Education and Severe Disabilities from UMD in 2015.  She is a middle school special education teacher at Eanes ISD, an independent school district in Austin, TX.

Lauren Tanman earned a MSW from North Carolina State University in 2018, and became a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) that year. She is a family and child outpatient therapist at Carolina Outreach, LLC in Durham, NC.

Lauren (Taverner) Jacob earned a MS in Occupational Therapy from Towson University in 2015. She is an occupational therapist clinician at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Ryan Thompson is a clinical research associate II at Supernaus Pharmaceuticals.

Abby Vandegrift earned a MS in Occupational Therapy from Towson University in 2015. She is an occupational therapist for Inova Health System in DE.

Tianran Zhang earned a MS in Human Resources Development from New York University in 2017. She is a HR Specialist at Paper Street Media.
