Kristen (Betit) Smith earned a JD from University of Baltimore School of Law in 2014. She is a former associate attorney with The Law Office of Kent Greenberg.

Rachel (Burnside) Moraca earned a MAT at SMCM in 2012. Previously an elementary school teacher for St. Mary's County Public Schools, Rachel is the assistant director of operations for Boundless Expectations, Inc., a specialized educational services an comprehensive educational consulting organization based in Leonardtown, MD. In November 2022, in recognition for her dedication to advocating in favor of those with dyslexia, Rachel was awarded the Vicki Brown Award from the St. Mary’s County Commission for People with Disabilities. Rachel herself has dyslexia and does advocacy and academic language therapy in addition to her role at Boundless Expectations.

Erin (Cammarata) Sanchez earned a MA in Psychology from Towson University in 2013, and then a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from the same institution in 2015. She is a certified school psychologist for Baltimore County Public Schools and a swim instructor at Meadowbrook Aquatic & Fitness Center.

Jacinta Casey earned a MSW from University of MD School of Social Work in  2016. She is an intake and assessment therapist at Harmony Bay Wellness in the Baltimore area.

Taylor Colonna is a general manger at Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls in Baltimore.

Amber (Crawford) Hershman completed an intensive, seven-month, 1800+ hour full-stack software development training at the Touring School of Software & Design in 2016. She is a lead software engineer at Table 22 in Phoenix, AZ.

Lela (Dantrassy) Studivan earned a MAT from SMCM in 2012, and a PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis in integrating technology and learning from Grand Canyon University in 2021. She is the director of teaching and learning at Hudson Global Scholars in Florida.

Kristen (Deegan) Magiros earned a JD from University of Baltimore School of Law in 2014. In 2019, she became a self-employed attorney at the Law Office of Kristen N. Magiros, LLC.

Mmaolisa Ezekwenna earned a MS in Human Resource Management from The Georgetown University in 2016. She is a diversity, equity and inclusion manager at The American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Rachel Fary earned a MA in Early Childhood Education from Towson University in 2014. She is a special education resource/HSM teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools.

Kaitlin "Kiki" (Gaylor) Kavanaugh earned a MS in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University of Maryland in 2015. She is a licensed psychological associate at Kennedy Krieger Institute. 

Dana Gittings earned a MA in Health Communication from Johns Hopkins University in 2013. She is a higher education marketing manager at American Psychological Association.

Melissa Graybeal worked as a veterinary technician for a year post-graduation (she had been in the position for two years prior). She is now pursuing a PhD in Animal Science at UMCP and is a graduate research assistant.

Antigone Grillakis is pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience from Uniformed Services University with an expected graduation in 2023.

Ashley Holmes earned a MS in Bioinformatics from UMUC in 2014. She is a laboratory research and development specialist at Holistic Industries in Baltimore.

Kyle Jernigan earned a MSW (Clinical Social Work - Mental Health) from UMD, Baltimore School of Social Work in 2015. A LCSW, he is a clinical social worker at Baltimore Washington Counseling Center.

David Johnson earned a PhD in Social Cognition from Michigan State University  in 2017. He is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychology and Department of Sociology at UMCP. He is also an advocate for open science. Data and materials from his experiments may be found here. David "employs computational models to study the psychological processes that underlie decisions. He has used this approach to understand decisions where law enforcement have mistakenly shot unarmed civilians. His work more broadly focuses on how race and other social categories impact decisions and the cognitive processes that underlie them." 

Tricia (Johnson) Hancock  is a third grade teacher (and teaches 7th grade Spanish) at Little Flower School in Great Mills, MD.

Makeyda (Hilliard) Mikael earned a MA in Dietetics/Diatician from University of Oklamhoma Health Sciences Center in 2016. She is a bariatric dietician at INTEGRIS Health in OK. Aditionally, Makeyda is the founder and CEO of Makeda Mikael Work bags and a #AMEX100 for 100 recipient. 

Bryan Miller  earned a MS in Elementary & Special Education from The Johns Hopkins University in 2022. He is a co teacher at I Dream Public Charter School in Washington, D. C.

Aaron Mirenzi is a lab technician (who won a post-baccalaureate intramural research training award) for National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA).

Issac Nixon works for the Bureau of Revenue Collections of the Baltimore City Department of Finance. He also works at MOMs Organic Market.

Maurine Obi is a family caseworker II at the Baltimore City Department of Social Services and an independent contractor ABA therapist in the DC Metro area.

Juel (Offer) Ramirez is a volunteer & development assistant for The Arc of Montgomery County, Inc.

Katherine Painter earned a MSW in Clinical Gerontology from Washington University in St. Louis in 2013. She is a training program specialist at Forefront Suicide Prevention.

Christina (Parr) Minnick earned a DPT from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2016, and became a  board certified pediatric clinical specialist in 2021. She is a staff physical therapist for pediatric patients (0-21) at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital and PRN physical therapist for pediatric patients at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Mercedes Peterman earned a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University School of Education in 2018, and became a licencsed graduate professional counselor that same year. She is a recruiting specialist at Phillips Corporation.

Nicolas Pinto is an assistant vice president at Citi in New York City.

Meredith Powlison completed a writing for PR class through the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at UVA in 2016. She is a senior copywriter at Elevations Credit Union in CO.

Mary Redding is a senior research program coordinator for The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a consent form specialist at Johns Hopkins University.

Janna Roberts worked at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) {as an contracts specialist, engineering psychologist, and as the veteran & diversity hiring lead for command recruiting}  for 10 years after graduation from SMCM. During that time she completed the certificate program in Human Systems Integration at the Naval Postgraduate School. She earned a OTD from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2021. She is an occupational therapist at Pediatric Specialists, LLC. 

Kristina (Schiller) Chaki spent the summer following graduation as a music intern at SMCM. She earned an MS in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in August 2012. She is a director of digital marketing and engagement for Sheppard Pratt Health System. Prior to working for Sheppard Pratt, Kristina held marketing positions at Havas helia, Weber Shandwick, and Powell Tate.

Alison Shapiro-Davis earned a MS in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University in 2015. She is an operations analyst at PILOT, a career improvement company.

Devin Sherwood is a senior marketing manager at OmniVista Health,  a subsidiary of Agora, Inc.

Catherine Skinner is a senior customer success manager at Tableau Software.

Peter Sparklin was a crew member with Maryland Conservation Corps for a year after graduation and interned at Dripping Springs Farm where he was actively engaged in learning about sustainability, helping to care for vegetables grown for the local community and trying to deter the groundhogs that had been ravishing the zucchini plants. He also served as an apprentice at Morning Dew Farm. He is now a crops manager at Butterbee Farm in Baltimore.

Melissa (Stringfellow) Kollar earned a MS in Survey Methodology from UMCP in 2013. She is a survey statistician for the U.S. Census Bureau.

Christie Tawiah earned a MSW in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Columbia University in the City of New York in 2018. She is a mental health clinician at Compass Counseling Services of Virginia.

Christine (Thomas) Stevens is pursuing a MS in Data Analytics at Western Governors University with an expected completion in 2024.  She has earned several Coursera and Salesforce, and ScrumMaster certifications, and completed a SQL bootcamp in 2023. She is a self-employed senior business analyst  C. Stevens Solutions working with clients in pre-sales and post-sales to understand their vision and requirements for salesforce and data implementations. 

George Tsereteli earned a MA in Advanced International Studies from Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies in 2016. He is a senior research associate for Europe and Eurasia Practice of McLarty Associates in the DC area.

Megan (Tracy) McIntosh earned a BSN from Stevenson University in 2015. She is a RN at UMD Medical Center.

Linda Turner earned a MS in Cybersecurity from UMUC in 2015, and a  CompTIA Security +certification in 2016. She is a designated authorizing official representative (DAOR/Information Security Specialist) at Centerpoint, Inc. in VA.

Melina Vamvas is the director of engagement and culture at Raptive and an #Iamremarkable Facilitator at g.co/Iamremarkable.

Jaclyn Ward earned a MS in Occupational Therapy from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2017. She is an occupational therapist at Functional Pathways in Rockville, MD.

Amanda (Williams) Brown earned a MAT from SMCM in 2012. She is an elementary school teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools and independent photographer for BB Photography.

Jenny Wise earned a MA in Human Resources Management and Services from UMUC in 2018. She is a program management analyst for a government contractor.
