Lane Brooks '18 started a business, Lane's Landscaping, in 2020.

Minjee Kim '18 earned a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2020. Soon after, she became a licensed clinician (LGPC, NCC) and opened up her own private practice, M. Kim Wellness, LLC, which she ran for a couple of years.  In 2024, she became founder and creative director of Interest of Joy, a luxury wedding / event design studio.  She is pursuing an MBA at Georgetown University with an expected graduation in 2025, and is the program director at NewPsych. 

Chikondi Kulemeka '18 served as an English language teaching assistant in Montluçon, France, in the year following graduation. She is now an executive assistant at The Complete Player Charity in the Washington, DC-Baltimore area. She is also the founder/executive director of The Desks Project, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving education in Malawi by providing students with desks through partnerships with local Malawian carpenters.

Muluberhan Bahre '16 earned a MSW in Clinical/Medical Social Work from University of Maryland Baltimore in 2021. He is a self-employed retail sale manager for Star International Market in NC. Prior to  his current position, he served as a  business counselor for the North Carolina African Services Coalition (NCASC) which helps refugees start their own businesses or upgrade their existing businesses.  

Jake Lowenthal '16 earned an advanced certificate in web application development from Boston University, Metropolitan College in 2019. He is a front end web developer at CGI Federal supporting a web application used by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Megan Treutler '17 earned a MAT at SMCM in 2017. She is a contract specialist for Naval Air Systems Command.

Serra Erbaş '15 earned a MBA at Vanderbilt University in 2022. She is a strategy research analyst intern at Shore Capital Partners.

Anastasia Keramidas '14 is an ecommerce marketing manager at Qdoba Restaurant Corporation in San Diego, CA. Prior to that, she had roles as a DTC content marketing manager for Mint Mobile, and as senior marketing associate for Lyft. Anastasia, a contestant on season 27 of 'The Bachelor', also has a food & lifestyle blog @AnastasiaMidas; she started it as a hobby in  2018, and has turned it into a business with over 28,700 followers.

Amber Crawford '11 completed an intensive, seven-month, 1800+ hour full-stack software development training at the Touring School of Software & Design in 2016. She is a lead software engineer at Table 22 in Phoenix, AZ.

Makeyda (Hilliard) Mikael '11 earned a MA in Dietetics/Dietician from University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2016. She is a bariatric dietician at INTEGRIS Health in OK. Additionally, Makeyda is the founder and CEO of Makeda Mikael Work bags and a #AMEX100 for 100 recipient. 

Christine (Thomas) Stevens '11 is pursuing a MS in Data Analytics at Western Governors University with an expected completion in 2024.  She has earned several Coursera and Salesforce, and ScrumMaster certifications, and completed a SQL bootcamp in 2023. She is a self-employed senior business analyst  C. Stevens Solutions working with clients in pre-sales and post-sales to understand their vision and requirements for salesforce and data implementations. 

Linda Turner '11 earned a MS in Cybersecurity from UMUC in 2015, and a  CompTIA Security +certification in 2016. She is a designated authorizing official representative (DAOR/Information Security Specialist) at Centerpoint, Inc. in VA.

Trey Cole '10  moved overseas after graduation to teach English in China. He extended his stay to study Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University, earning a certificate of fluency. After teaching, learning, and eating his way across China, he transitioned into corporate management and led expansion efforts for IQAir into Western China. In 2016, Trey relocated to Colorado, where he entered SaaS and tech sales, moonlighted as a realtor, managed an Airbnb in Colorado Springs, and earned his MBA at University of Colorado (in 2020). In 2024, he returned to St. Mary's City and now works remotely as an account executive at Samsara, selling safety and efficiency solutions to physical operations businesses around the country. 

Ashleigh Dueker '10 served as a health education specialist in Mali, West Africa for the Peace Corps for two years after graduation. She earned a MBA from Lancaster University, UK  in 2015. Before moving to England in 2014, she was a coordinator for new program development at Jhpiego, a NPO affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, that works to prevent the needless deaths of women and families. She is now a principal consultant of agile transformation at PA Consulting in London.

Caitlin (Eckert) Larrimore '10 earned a MS in School Counseling at Johns Hopkins University in 2013. She is a sales operations manager at ed2go, a member of the Cengage Group. 

Kaitlin Hines-Noble '10  is a senior UX Designer for Alexa Aging and Independence. In January 2020, a project she designed and helped launch in 2019, "Alexa, what's in my hand" won Voice Experience of the Year from Project Voice, the #1 event for voice tech and AI in America. In the summer of 2022, that feature she designed was featured in Netflix's Instant Dream Home. Most recently she largely contributed to the development of the Alexa Emergency Assist app/service.

Dan Kircher '10 earned a PhD in Pharmacology from University of Texas at Austin in 2017. He pioneered optogenetic recording techniques in the lab that allowed for the precise dissection of neural circuits of interest and characterized novel findings of alcohols effect on critical brain reward circuitry and resulted in presentations at the Research Society on Alcoholism conference. He is a senior manager, R&D IT business partner for early phase translational medicine at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (US).

Angela (Baker) Norwich earned a MBA (Consulting in Strategic Management) from UMD Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2013.  A Certified Fraud Examiner and Project Management Professional with MEDDICC Qualification Elite Selling Certification, she is a client executive for Federal Systems Integrators at NetApp in the Washington, DC - Baltimore area.

Brendan Spealman '08 served in the United States Marine Corps for over 6 years. He earned a MBA from William and Mary in 2019. He is a product manager at Cisco in the Raleigh Duham area.

Simon Lutterbie '06 earned a PhD in Social Psychology from University of Oxford in 2010. After spending 9 years as the Director of Research and IT Development at iOpener Institute for People and Performance in Oxford, Simon returned to the US and moved to California. He is a senior manager of engineering at Obsidian Security. 

Oluchi Okidegbe Taylor '06 earned a MA in Human Resources Management from Bowie State University in 2009, and earned Certificates of Accomplishment Levels 1-3 in Human Resources Management from 2011-2016. She served in several human resources-related roles for the United States Department of Defense between Aug 2009 - Aug 2025 and is now a business manager for USDoD.

Hope Lobkowicz '05 volunteered at the Marine Mammal Center's rescue and release program on the central coast of California for a while after graduation and then earned an MA in Public Policy (Environmental Policy) from The George Washington University in 2008. She is a senior analyst for The Cadmus Group, a management consulting firm.
