Elaine Appel Gisriel earned a MS in Counseling Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Employee Assistance Programs from Loyola (College) University in 1993. Elaine worked in the Employee Assistance Program field, specializing in Medical Professionals health programs for 15 years prior to moving into Higher Education and becoming a Student Development Specialist and Academic Advisor at Harford Community College. Elaine is Married to Curt Gisriel '89.
Frank M. Calia earned a MA in Education from UMBC in 1997. He is a middle school science teacher for Howard County Public Schools.
Yvette Dodson earned a MEd in Curriculum Theory and Development from University of Maryland in 1996. She is an ESOL Teacher for Calvert County Public Schools at Calvert High School.
Anne Janeski earned a MA in Public Communications & Marketing from The American University in 1993 and took some master's coursework in Theater at George Mason University in 1997. She is a group sales & marketing manager for Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.
Christine Lee earned a MEd in Early Childhood Special Education from University of Maryland in 1996. She is an early childhood special educator for SMCPS.
Justine Van Wie earned a ScM in Clinical Exercise Physiology from The George Washington University in 2011. She is a director of gift and state administration for the Office of Planned Giving of George Washington University.
Lori (Smoker) Young earned a MS in Counseling (College Counseling) from Shippensburg University (PA), in 1993. She is a director of risk management at Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital in MI.

Anne Hynes earned a MSW from UM School of Social Work (Employee Assistance Programs) in 1996. She is a school social worker for Baltimore County Public Schools.
Katy Moss earned a MEd in Curriculum & ESOL from UMBC in 1994. She is a high school teacher for FLVS (Florida Virtual School).
Sherri Neilson earned a MBA from University of Maryland in 1996 and took some graduate coursework in English at Shepherd College. She is an application developer at Independent Project Analysis.
Lorna Orndorff earned a MA in Counseling from Marymount University in 1992 and a MSW from the Catholic University of America in 1996. She was a social work officer with the United States Army Medical Services Corps from 2000-2007. She is now an outpatient clinical social worker for US Veteran Administration. Lorna sends her love and good wishes to her many old friends and asks them to join her in her prayer for world peace.
Tori Wilson earned a MA in Counseling from Bowie State University in 1992 and completed the Post-Graduate Certification Program in Counseling Psychology at John Hopkins University in 2006. She is a clinical director for The Foundation School.

Grant Steven James earned a MEd in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from Towson University in 1995 and a MA in Liberal and Professional Studies from the same institution in 2002. He is a clinical specialist for USMC-MCCS.
Maria Phillips earned a MSW from University of MD, Baltimore in 1991. She is a senior mortgage loan originator for Clarksville Mortgage Corporation.

Class of 1987

Carol Collins earned a MEd in Reading from Bowie State University in 1993. She was an elementary teacher for Anne Arundel County Public Schools before retiring in 2018.
David Flanagan earned a MEd from UMCP. He is the associate director for digital learning for the Center for Learning & Development of KPMG in Washington, D.C. His duties include consulting with internal clients, conducting needs assessments, gap analysis, program and curriculum design and development, instructional design, computer and web user interface design, project management, and technology-based learning initiatives.
Theresa Webster earned a MA in Information Systems Development from UMBC in 1989 and a MEd (Reading Specialist) from Loyola University of Maryland in 2004. She is a reading specialist for Howard County Public Schools at Clemens Crossing Elementary School.

Joan (Jenkins) Stammnitz is a Victim/Witness Specialist for the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's Office.
Patricia Lynch completed some graduate MSW coursework at University of MD, Baltimore and then earned a MEd in School Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland in 1992. She is a professional school counselor for Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
Catherine (Racine) Pell has taken coursework in Electrical Engineering at Foothill College. She is a senior compliance engineer for Plantronics, Inc.
Patrick Provost is the owner/operator of Jersey Mikes Subs in Jacksonville, NC.
Laurie Ryan earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology (APA accredited; Specialty Area: Clinical Neuropsychology - APA Division 40/INS guidelines) from Louisiana State University in 1997. She is currently the program director of Alzheimer's disease clinical trials for National Institute on Aging Division of Neuroscience and chief of the Demintias of Aging Branch for the National Institute on Aging Division of Neuroscience.
