Skylar Limpert '22 is an education assistant at Sheppard Pratt working with students who have autism and a variety of other disabilities. 


Kamryn Ring '22 is pursuing a MEd in Special Education & ABA at Arizona State Univerity with an expected graduation in 2024.  She is a registered behavioral technician (RBT) at Personalized Therapy in Lexington Park.

Kelsey Sears '21 earned a MEd in Special Education at the American College of Education in 2022. She is a special education teacher for Calvert County Public Schools.


Aryana Ware '19 earned a MA in Education in Development with concentration in Special Education for Children with Emotional & Behavioral Disabilities from The George Washington University in 2023. She is an elementary special education teacher for The Children's Guild in Washington, D.C.

Stephanie Schindler '18 earned an accelerated teaching certificate (education/teaching of individuals in elementary special education programs) at the Notre Dame University of Maryland in 2018. She is a special education teacher for Charles County Board of Education.

Gillian Justice '17 is a middle school special educator at St. Elizabeth School in Baltimore, MD.

Kelley Stewart '17 earned a Registered Behavioral Technician certification from BACB in 2018, and a MAT in Special Education from Notre Dame of Maryland 2021. She is a special education teacher at Arrow Center for Education.

Nina Collins '16 earned a MEd in Special Education and Teaching from Notre Dame University in 2017. She is a special education teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools.

Robin Goldman '16 moved to Dublin, Ireland following graduation and earned a MSc in Children & Youth Studies with a concentration in Children's Disability Studies at University College Dublin in 2017, while working as a private floortime therapist. She returned stateside in 2018, and is now a teacher support specialist at Educational Partners International, LLC in NC.

Charlotte Mecklenburg '16  is a special education teacher and teacher's assistant at The Kathrine Thomas School, an independent day school located in Rockville, Maryland, that provides educational experience to children with language and learning disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or other health impairments.

Katherine Nicollini '16 earned a MS in Special Education  and Teaching, ABA from Penn State University in 2020. She is a special education teacher, senior teaching assistant,  and ABA instructor at Ivymount Corporation. 

Elena Morrisey '16 is pusuing a MSW from UMD with an expected graduation in 2021.  She is an assistant teacher at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Amber (Drake) Brady '15 earned a MA in Leadership in Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University in 2019. She is a  instructonal specialist for special education for the Charles County (MD) Board of Education.

Kasey Jackonis '15 earned a MEd in Special Education (specializing in students accessing adapted curriculum) from George Mason University in 2018. She is an intellectual disabilities teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools at West Potomac High School.

Jessie Nolasco-Sandino '15 served as a community health volunteer for the Peace Corps stationed in Asunción, Paraguay for almost 3 years. She is special education teacher aid at The Foundation School of Montgomery County and plans to pursue a MS in Clinical Social Work.  

Claire Huckenpoehler '14 is pursuing a MEd in Special Education from Notre Dame University. She is a teacher at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Amy Brakebill '13 earned a MA in Special Education from Liberty University in 2015. She is a special education teacher for Charlottesville City Schools in VA.

Marci Hameroff '13 is an ELA SWD teacher for the Achievement First (a network of K-12 charter schools in CT, NY, and RI) Bushwick Empower Program, an intensive program serving students with disabilities.

Jessica Kajdas '13 earned a MA in Leadership & Special Education from Notre Dame University of Maryland in 2020. She is a case manager and family consultant at Celebrate Ability in MD.

Emma (Sullivan) Coghill '13 earned a MEd in Special Education and Severe Disabilities from UMD in 2015.  She is a middle school special education teacher at Eanes ISD, an independent school district in Austin, TX.

Rachel Fary '11 earned a MA in Early Childhood Education from Towson University in 2014. She is a special education resource/HSM teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools.

Bryan Miller '11 earned a MS in Elementary & Special Education from The Johns Hopkins University in 2022.

Andrea (Bancells) Bianco '07 earned an MS in Psychology with specialization in applied behavior analysis from Nova Southeastern University in 2010. She is special education teacher in the Harrisburg School District in Harrisburg, PA.

Kerry Buechler '07 earned a MS in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University in 2012. She is a special education teacher for Howard County Public Schools.

Naomi (Tranen) Haberman '07 earned a MSW (Mental Health) from UMD School of Social Work in 2012. She is a crisis intervention specialist on the special education team at Waterloo Elementary in Howard County Public Schools. In 2019, she opened a private practice, Tides of Change Wellness, which provides a comprehensive DBT program, in addition to traditional outpatient mental health therapy. The practice specializes in treating children and adolescents with self harming thoughts and behaviors, as well as vets and first responders. 

Katie (Ryan) Albritton '06 earned a MEd in Early Childhood Special Education from University of Maryland College Park in 2009. She is currently a LD special education teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools.

Holly Stone '06 earned a MEd (Special Education: Severe Disabilities) from Vanderbilt University in 2010. She is a transition teacher for Next Step Transition- Independent School District 622 in Minneapolis, MN.

Michelle (Donlon) Nutini '00 completed coursework in TESOL at School of International Training in 2001, and earned a MEd in Elementary and Special Education from Chestnut Hill College in 2009. She earned a EdD in educational Leadership and Management with a concentration in Special Education Leadership in 2019. She is an autistic support coordinator and K-5 autistic support teacher for the school district of Philadelphia.

Barbara Manankil '96 is a special education teacher for Baltimore County Public Schools.

Mary Augustin '95 earned a MA in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University in 2001. She is a manager of behavior services at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Jackie Nelson '95 earned a MEd (Transition Special Education and Teacher Preparation) from George Washington University in 1999. She also earned a MS in School and Mental Health Counseling from University of Pennsylvania in 2011. She is a teacher of exceptional children for Brandywine School District in the greater Philadelphia area.

Michael Rozalski '94  earned a MEd in Special Education from the University of South Carolina in 1999, and a MEd in Educational Research from the same institution in 2000. He went on to earn a PhD in Special Education (Research and College Teaching) from the University of South Carolina in  2001. He is an associate professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning, & Educational Leadership at Binghamton University, where he teaches graduate level courses on how to educate students with behavior problems. His research interests include classroom and school-wide supports and legal issues related to students with disabilities. He is married to psyc alumna Brigid Cahill '94.

Christine (Nicholson) Bechtel '93 earned a MEd from Loyola College of Maryland in 2001. She is the supervisor of middle school special education for Carroll County Public Schools.

Ricky Sica '93 pursued some coursework in social work at University of North Carolina and then earned his teaching license from East Carolina University in 2010. He is a special education teacher for Wake County Public Schools.

David Ring '91 earned a MEd in Counseling and Administration. He is a special education behavior management specialist for the Calvert County Public School System.

Terri (Morrone) Potter '81 earned a MAT (elementary education and special education) from College Of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2003. She is a special education teacher for Calvert County Public Schools.
