Emma Hillyer is pursuing a MSW at Liberty University with an expected graduation in 2025. She is a substitute teacher for Calvert County Public Schools.

MK Meyers '22 is pursuing a MSW at Salisbury University with an expected graduation in 2024. She is a family services caseworker at Maryland Department of Human Services.


Amanda (Sherman) Threlfall '22 is a dispatch coordinator for the Calvert County Mobile Crisis Team (MCT). She became a Maryland Department of Health board certified alcohol and drug trainee in August 2023, and is pursuing a MSW at Salisbury University with an expected graduation in 2025.


Jacinda Thomas '22 is pursuing a MSW from University of Mayland, Baltimore School of Social Work.

Shantavia Hart-Green '21 is a residential advisor for Department of Juvenile Services in Baltimore County, MD.

Josephina (Joey) Pisano '21 spent the year after graduation as an Americorp member in Boston. She is now pursuing a MSW at Boston College School of Social Work with an expected graduation in 2024.

Emily Benedict '20 earned a MSW from George Mason University in 2023. She is a clinical case manager at Covenant House Washington. 

Ceara Daugherty '20 presented her SMP at the Society for Social and Psychology Virtual Symposium in February 2021. She is rehabilitation specialist at Arundel Lodge and later plans to get a PhD in psychology. 

Madeleine Henline '20 is pursuing a MS in Counseling Psychology at Hood College. She is a direct support professional at Target Community & Educational Service, Inc and cashier at Westminster Car Wash & Detailing.

Cory Shorter '20 is a residential coordinator at Channel Marker, Inc. He aspires to become a psychotherapist.  

Madeleine Morris '20 is a crisis hotline specialist at Community Crisis Services, Inc. in MD.

Kendall Zacker '20 earned a MSW at Salisbury University in 2022. She a LMSW at Turning Stone Counseling in MD.

Joshua Akwara '19  is service coordinator/counselor at Sheppard Pratt.

Kara Feidelseit '19 is a CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA at Catholic University of America. Her role is to help combat poverty in America. Specifically, she is helping to reduce food insecurity on Catholic's campus by building a permanent food pantry that students and staff can access.  She has been accepted into the MSW program at Boston University.

Mohammad Azimi Vahdat '18 is a residential counselor at Family Services, Inc.

Ashley (Ballard) Horling '18 earned a MS in Human Services at New England College in 2022. She is a case manager for the Virginia Department of Social Services.

Alison Haney '18 is a care coordinator at Center for Children in LaPlata, MD.

Christian Harris '18 earned a MSW from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2020. He is a data analyst/client services specialist at Office of the Public Defender Maryland. 

Madison Tacka '18 earned a MSW in Clinical Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore - School of Social Work in 2022. She has served as a therapeutic support specialist for Catholic Charities of Baltimore and a social work intern for Sheppard Pratt Eating Disorder Unit.

Alexander (Zander) Baldwin '17 is a legal administrative assistant at Elkind & Shea, and paralegal at Shea Disability Litigation, LLC. In addition, he serves as a care taker/ direct service professional for RCM of Washington Inc., a NPO that provides services and supports to people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in Washington, D.C. 

Robin (Goldman) LeBlanc '16 moved to Dublin, Ireland following graduation and earned a MSc in Children & Youth Studies with a concentration in Children's Disability Studies at University College Dublin in 2017, while working as a private floortime therapist. She returned stateside in 2018, and is now a director of operations for OKclarity, an online wellness platform focusing on mental health in the Jewish community.

Jasmine Humphrey '17 earned a MSW at Salisbury University in 2020.

Rebecca La Mora '17 earned a MSW specializing in behavioral health from UMD Baltimore in 2021. She is a rehabilitation specialist with Arundel Lodge, a non-profit organization whose mission is improving the lives of children, adults and families impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. 

Margaret (Meg) Marcelli '17 earned a MSW at University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2019. She is a family preservation social worker at Baltimore County Department of Social Services in its Sexual Abuse Continuing Services Unit.

Maria Jimenez '17 earned a MSW (clinical track  and psychodynamic concentration) from the University of Chicago in 2018. A LCSW-C, she is a social worker and psychotherapist at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. 

Catherine Shultz '16 spent the year following graduation as a flight attendant with American Airlines. She is a supports planner at The Coordinating Center in MD.

Bethany Yates '16 earned a MSW from UMD Baltimore in August 2017. A LMSW, she provides services at the Therapy Cafe in Lexington Park, MD.

Stephanie Jeanette Wood '16 earned a MSW and her LMSW certification in 2021. She is a clinical case manager for Pyramid Healthcare.

Leah Berry '15 earned a MD State Trained Mediator Certificate through the Inclusive Listening Model and a MD Prisoner Re-Entry Specialist Training Certificate. She is a prisoner re-entry specialist for the Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center.    

Annie Bennett '15 is a Volunteer Maryland Coordinator with Friends of Cedar Lane.  She will begin a MSW at  Salisbury University in Fall 2020.

Emily Gehrig '15 earned a MSW from Salisbury University in 2019. She is a child protective specialist for the Department of Social Services and a caseworker for Southern Maryland Community Network.

Amy Redman '15 earned a MSW in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in behavioral health from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2018. She is a liscenced clinical social worker for Refresh Mental Health. 

Rebecca Reinhardt '15 is working for Service Coordination, Inc. Previously, she was a special education teacher at The Forbush School at Glyndon - Hannah More Campus.

Adriana Rossel '15 is pursuing a MSW (Advanced Generalist Practice and Programming) from Columbia University with and expected graduation in 2018. She is the co founder of Own Your O: Sex Ed Revisited, and educational outreach program focused on sex education for adults.

Willow Smith '15 earned a MAT at SMCM in 2016 with ESOL endorsed.  She is a training and implementation manager for Community Access in NY.

Taylor Spencer Davis '15 is the deputy director of the Southern Maryland Center for Family Advocacy.

Meshan Lehman '14 earned a MSW with concentration in child and family health from UMB in 2016. As a LGSW (licensed graduate social worker) she is an adoption social worker at Adoptions Together.

Madeline Meister'14 is an assistant to visually impaired attorneys at U.S. Department of Education. She will begin pursuing a MSW at Bridgewater State University in 2021.will begin pursuing a MSW at Bridgewater State University in 2021.

Ariel Hirsh '13 served as an Israel teaching fellow for Masa/ Israel Way in 2013-2014.  She completed an internship at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center before earning a MSW from UMD School of Social Work in 2016.

Adrienne Gordon '12 earned a MSW with concentration in Gerontology Services from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015. She is a senior clinical social worker at the Institute on Aging, San Francisco, CA.

Steven Morris '12 earned a MSW from the University of Vermont in 2014. He also received a certificate in maternal and child health for kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities as a national LEND trainee. He is a social worker at MedStar Harbor Hospital.

Emily Saari '12 earned a MSW from UMD School of Social Work in 2016. She is a grant writer for ELEVATE, helping nonprofits advance their work for social justice and community enrichment with strategic grant writing.

Maureen Wahl '12 earned a MSW with clinical concentration and children and families specialization from UMD Baltimore School of Social Work in 2016. She is a licensed clinical social worker for CalvertHealth.

Maurine Obi '11 is a family caseworker II at the Baltimore City Department of Social Services and an independent contractor ABA therapist in the DC Metro area.

Stephanie Klapper '10 earned a MSW from UMD School of Social Work in 2014. She is the deputy director of Maryland Citizens' Health Initiative.

Jill Bradley '09 earned a MSW (Management and Community Organization) from UMD School of Social Work in 2014. A LMSW, she is a family stability case manager for United Way of Central Maryland.

Hannah Fegley '07 earned a MSW from Smith College School for Social Work in 2013. She is a clinician and program manager for Johns Hopkins Student Assistance Program, providing therapy services for graduate students and their families, including intake, treatment planning, therapy, and case management. 

Amber Dawson '08 earned a MSW from UMD School of Social Work in 2013. She is a mental health therapist for Advanced Therapeutic Connections.

Mary Lyle (Jeanes) Buff '08 is an instructional technologist for Community Support Services, Inc. She is also a yoga instructor.

Sara (Rubinstein) Schreibstein '08 earned a MA in Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University in 2010, and MA Leadership in Disability Services at the University of Delaware in 2021. She is a youth and family services program coordinator for Jewish Federation of Howard County, MD.

Christopher Kauffman '07 worked for Pathways, Inc. and Weidiko before moving out west. He earned a MSW from UCLA in 2012 and is a Katie A. intensive care coordinator/clinician for Youth Homes in Los Angeles.

Megan Farley '07 earned a MSW (Clinical Mental Health) from Boston College in 2009. She is a veterans empowerment center social worker at Philadelphia VA Medical Center.

Conny (Maslyar) Wulff '06 earned a MSW (with concentration in Families and Youth at Risk) from the joint program of North Carolina A&T State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011. Her LCSW was earned in 2011. She is a Nationally Registered TF-CBT provider by the NC Child Treatment Program and a Quality-rated CPT provider by Duke EPIC   She is a behavioral health consultant at Evans-Blount Total Access Care.

Doria Fleisher '05 is an educator, trainer, and case manager for Charles County Public Schools. In June 2021, Doria will transition to a position within Charles County Government. 

Kate (Dansie) Bowman '05 earned a MSW from UMD School of Social Work in 2007. She is a psychotherapist at Columbia Counseling Center.

Jessica (Searle) Fonzi '05 earned a MSW (Clinical Social Work) from Columbia School of Social Work in 2014. She was a social work intern at Safe Haven, a social service in NYC, for a time and has done social work for Lawyers against Abuse, a community organization that provides free legal services and psychosocial support for victims of gender-based violence in Johannesburg, Gauteng. In 2017, she relocated to Kigali, Rwanda with her family.

Jason Straub '04 earned a MSW from UMD School of Social Work in 2010. He is a programmer analyst + social worker at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Keisha McGeachy '03 earned a MSW from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2008. She is a community support coordinator for The ARC of Prince George's County.

Katie (Miller) Williams '03 earned a MSW (Management & Community Organization/Clinical Minor) from UMD Social Work in 2005, and was PMP certified in 2011. She is a project management office director at Community Science in Frederick, MD.

Jennifer Horn '02 earned a MSW from Temple University in 2007 and a MBA in Management & Planning from the University of Phoenix in 2009. She is a legal liaison at Dauphin County Social Services for Children and Youth in PA.

Prince Inniss '00 was a housing choice voucher coordinator for the family self-sufficiency program of Housing Authority City of Frederick at the time of his passing in June 2019.

Janeen Norvell-Rao '00 earned a MSW in Mental Health from MD School of Social Work in 2005. She is a child clinical psychotherapist for Sheppard Pratt.

Calley (Leimbach) Goostree '99 is a family services care worker at the St. Mary's Dept. of Family Services.

Aarati Kasturirangan '99 earned a MA and then a PhD in Community and Prevention Research in Psychology from University of Illinois in 2008. She is the director of programs for the Bread & Roses Community Fund.

Suzanne (Chwirut) Trotter '98 earned a MS in School Psychology from UMCP in 2004, and a MSW from Boston University in 2014. She is a school consultant for Catholic Charities of Baltimore.

Tiana Davis '97 earned a MSW from UMD School of Social Work (Policy and Administration) in 2003. She is a policy director for equity and justice at the Center for Children's Law and Policy.

Melinda Garbus '94 earned a MSW from Smith College in 2000. She is a clinical social worker at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Nellie Power '93 earned a MSW (Psychiatric Social Work w/ Families & Children) from the UMD School of Social Work in 1995. She is the program director of the Baltimore Child & Adolescent Crisis Response System.

Anne Hynes '89 earned a MSW from UMD School of Social Work (Employee Assistance Programs) in 1996. She is a school social worker for Baltimore County Public Schools.

Lorna Orndorff '89 earned a MA in Counseling from Marymount University in 1992 and a MSW from the Catholic University of America in 1996. She was a social work officer with the United States Army Medical Services Corps from 2000-2007. She is now an outpatient clinical social worker for US Veteran Administration. Lorna sends her love and good wishes to her many old friends and asks them to join her in her prayer for world peace.
