Today we will take a look at the economic concept known as monopoly. Your first task is to find a definition of monopoly that you understand. This means put it in your own words.

After you complete the Belndspace activity, open the PDF below, entitled Standard Oil Monopoly. Read through the scenario with a partner and answer the questions. Be prepared to discuss these as a class.
