The American Civil War doesn't just happen one day because the citizens thought it would be a fun idea. It built over time, over issues that were unsettled by the constitution. Today, let's take a look at the road to war and see if we can pinpoint a root issue.
Step 1: Read through the cards and info in the PDF below to remind you of some of the events that we talked about last year. Once you're done reading, make a list of three topics or issues that seem to keep coming up through out those events. When you're done, take a picture of of your list and turn it in on Google classroom.
