Girls State Golf

This year the Lady Tiger Golf team placed third at State. The state tournament took place in Colombia Missouri at the Colombia Country Club, which is one of the hardest courses in the state. Together the team shot a 790 for the two combined days, the team also had all 4 members of their team place in the top 60 with the highest individual being Addy Davis who finished 7th overall. Junior Maya McKiver said that she was very proud of the team and how they placed. McKiver said that the team did not expect to go to state this year. In order to reach the state tournament the golf team had to win districts this year, which was not something that they were expecting to do.
