Going Green

Truman students participated in a worldwide climate strike which, according to the Global Climate Strike website, is a protest to demand action to address climate change. If you are unable to attend a strike, here are some tips for going green.

• Use reusable bags while shopping

• Reuse water bottles

• Walk or bike to school (if possible)

• Carpool

• Use both sides of the paper

• Get a fan! Don’t use unnecessary amounts of AC

• Turn water off while brushing teeth

• Shut lights off/unplug when you leave the house

• Recycle your paper
