Updated Modified Quarantine

Earlier in the year, I was placed into a modified quarantine where at first I was under the impression that I would be quarantined for the full fourteen days because I had been around my teammate who was infected all day because we were cheering at a basketball tournament and we weren’t wearing a mask the entire time while building because according to MSHSAA policy, cheerleaders may not stunt with masks on for safety reasons. So because I had obviously been exposed due to the circumstances, I was placed into quarantine and a couple days into it, I received word that I qualified for a “modified quarantine” where I may return to school after I was quarantined for five days, but I was to have my temperature taken multiple times a day instead of just once when entering school at the beginning of the day, and I was not to participate in any extracurricular activities, social events, and I could not go to my part-time job either. I was allowed to go to school, go home, and that was it.
