Gracie Goings is a seventeen year old senior at Kirksville High School. Although born in Quincy, IL, she was raised in Shelbina, MO, then moved to Kirksville, MO, in fifth grade. Gracie is the second of seven kids. She is part of the varsity cheerleading team and plays the flute in the Kirksville High School Band, she also is the Newspaper Editor and Web Page Editor for the Paw Print. Gracie is a second year journalist for the Paw Print and chose to do publications this year to work on her social skills.
After high school she plans to go to MACC for two years to get her bachelor's degree then go to Mizzou to get her master's in social work. Gracie plans to become a social worker and investigate child abuse. She chose this career because she wants to see kids grow from their experiences and have opportunities to become the best they can be.
