Amy Love

Mrs. Love grew up in the small town of Moulton, Iowa. She moved to Kirksville to go to the Kirksville Area Technical Center to earn a nursing degree. After finishing school, she settled here. Her husband’s job transferred them to St. Thomas for 8 months before a series of hurricanes. She worked in long-term nursing before coming to the high school. Her last job was at the La Plata nursing home. She likes Kirksville because it is a small town but is also big enough to show a lot of diversity. She is a 4-H leader and enjoys activities with the group as well as working on crafts and going on family adventures.

Taylor Elgin

Mr. Elgin has always called Kirksville home. He graduated from high school right here and later graduated from Truman just down the road. Last year he began his teaching career in Schuyler County, where he taught geometry and algebra. He now teaches Algebra 1, Concepts of Algebra, and Applied Math 2. Mr. Elgin enjoys hunting, working around the house, and spending time with his son.
