Publications Sponsor, Shawn Meintz was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Meintz was educated at Truman State University in Kirksville Missouri and has been teaching for eleven years. Currently, he teaches AP World History, US Government, and Publications at Kirksville High School. Meintz has also been coaching girls and boys soccer at Kirksville High School since 2009 (13 seasons in total). Meintz will be able to retire in 18 years. After retirement he hopes to travel the world and would especially like to see Germany. Meintz enjoys listening to and creating music. Meintz satisfies his love of music through church and his band, “Tempest in a Teapot.” His favorite kind of music is folk.
