The name of the IL Rifugio HAYAMA [name of restaurant] scallop dish is the birth of Venus! Opening the shells [baked bread, it seems] was as wonderful as the picture of Botticelli. The
roasted chickens were stuffed with foie gras. It was a completely delicious dinner.
With many photos showing mouth-watering dishes. Nobu (black shirt, sweet smile) is seen in the photo below poised to tackle his roast chicken.

Pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii also played a Kawaii mini piano as a child, so I'd be glad if it will help to develop the tonal sensitivity of [my daughter] .
The photo of baby Nobuyuki Tsujii playing on such a piano [seen below] is well known in Japan, and has probably helped to sell thousands of these mini-pianos in Japan during the holiday season.

Mrs. Itsuko Tsujii (mother of Nobuyki Tsujii), posted this photo on Instagram.
The first accompanying photo shows Nobu seated at his piano at home, with mother Itsuko standing behind him.
Nobu has on a sweat shirt marked with "NEW YORK". He has on a blue Santa cap; Mrs. Tsujii a red Santa cap.

The photo seen on the wall is the painting presented by Takeshi Kitano to Nobu on this show.

I am reading a book written by a naturalist, and there is a chapter on a genus of birds known as "nuthatches".
I was amused by the description on Wikipedia :
"Characterised by large heads, short tails, and powerful bills and feet, nuthatches advertise their territory using loud, simple songs."
It is a fetching small bird, as you can see in this photo by the Cornell University.
How did year 2019 go for Nobuyuki Tsujii? There were someperformance: at places like Suntory Hall, Carnegie Hall, George Enescu Festival, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Three new additions to his repertoire. Four new countries. Like that.
And there were some lighter moments as well.

Another post mentions that Nobu is in the Netherlands (for his Dec 15 Concertgebouw Amsterdam recital) and had to miss a concert of "La Diva" (with singers Ayaka Hirahara & Sarah Alainn, with each of whom Nobu has performed.)

On October 23 2019, Nobuyuki Tsujii made his debut in Hannover, Germany, at the Hannover Congress Centrum | HCC, with the NDR Radiophilharmonie and conductor Andrew Manze. Nobu played Beethoven's "Emperor" piano concerto as an event of a Beethoven Festival
