2012-13 Japan Tour Part 1

Following is an account of the recital from a Nobu fan who was at the concert:

We have just come back from the Concert.

Tsujii-san's Japan Tour 2012 was so brilliant.  It was so dynamic and passionate.

The hall was fully occupied (really no vacancy) although it was held in the afternoon of a business day.

<Wrote another Nobu fan: "I believe no other classical musicians can do that in Japan!".>

We also enjoyed 4 encores; Chopin's nocturne Op.27-2, Chopin's etude Op.10-12 (Revolution?), Tsujii-san's own music "Soredemo-Ikiteyuku (それでも、生きてゆく)", and North-Japan-Recovery-Campaign song "Hanawa-saku (花は咲く)".

We had so nice audiences. No one start clapping their hands before Tsujii-san completely finish the music performance and accordingly we were able to feel "resonance" of his outstanding play.

We are so lucky to have seen the 1st concert in China, and we definitely wish to see him again at the final concert in Suntory Hall next February (although we do believe that it's so difficult to get the tickets!).

Tsujii-san's Debussy plays are so fantastic.  We deeply wish that a music company would issue CD.

We learned from your website that Tsujii-san would play Debussy's songs in US next year.   I believe that it is so fantastic experience for you to listen so nice, brilliant music actually by your ears.

辻井伸行さん凄いよね。Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii is amazing.

客席の照明が落ち、辻井伸行くん、介助の係員とともに舞台に登場。割れるような拍手が止んだ静寂の中、辻井くんがピアノの椅子に座り、位置を調整し、さあ 手を鍵盤に…っというタイミングで、ピロロ、ピロロ、と携帯の電子音！誰だ電源切ってない奴はコラッばーかーたーれーーー！！！怒！The audience lighting was cut out when  Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii appeared on stage with his assistant. In the ensuing silence after the applause had ceased, Mr. Tsujii adjusted the height of the piano position, with one hand on the keyboard ... <something about the facilitiy's lack of modern lighting and sound system>!!! I am mad!

昨日は辻井伸行さんのコンサートを聴いてきました。JAPAN TOUR初日、今回は初めての演目で、｢どうなることかと思った｣そうですが(本人談)、素晴らしかったです。｢ベルガマスク組曲｣など、ドビュッシー４ 曲と、｢幻想ポロネーズ｣など、ショパンを４曲 Yesterday I listened to the first recital of Mr. Nobuyuki Tusjii. First day of his Japan tour. New repertoire.  "I am afraid what would happen," I thought to myself.  But it was wonderful.  Four Debussy pieces such as the Bergamask Suite, and four Chopin pieces, such as the Polonaise.

盲目の天才ピアニスト、辻井伸行さんのコンサートに行って来ました

日本ツアーの皮切りは千葉県文化会館。

ちょっと早く到着したので、お隣の千葉城へ…

入場料金は60円。

風が気持ちいい。

...

第1部はドビュッシー、第2部はショパン。

1部は気持ち良く寝てしまったけど、2部は知ってる曲ばかり

隣の席のおじいちゃんはノリノリに首振ってました。

素晴らしかったなぁー

最後の英雄ポロネーズ。

そして、アンコールはなんと、4曲!!

ラストは「花は咲く」

感動した～!!

スタートダッシュ遅れたけど、行って良かった

The first part Debussy,  Part 2 Chopin.

Part 1 was so comfortable I fell asleep.  Part 2 are songs that I know

Grandpa sitting next to me was nodding his head.

Naa was great.<It was not that great(?)>

Herioic Polonaise was last.

And, what, four encore songs!

The last one is "flowers bloom"

- I was impressed!

The excitement came late, but it was good.

辻井伸行 日本ツアー初日に聴く 10.10.2012

今日は辻井伸行さんのツアー全２８公演の初日でした。

運よくラスト数枚のところで取れたチケット。

１７８７席ある会場は満席です。開演前の様子。

弱音のニュアンスはさすが辻井伸行さん！

会場の隅々まで届くｐｐｐ

音の消えゆく瞬間まで聞き逃せません

降り注ぐようなパッセージが優しく会場を包みます

最後のアンコールは４曲という大サービス。

うち自作曲２曲の前に本人自らお話をされました。

ツアー初日というプレッシャーもあったことでしょう。

プログラム中とは違う空気感がアンコール演奏中に感じられました。

...現在２０代の辻井さん。

にじみ出る人柄の良さを演奏から、お話する姿から感じました。

今後の成長がますます楽しみです。...

Today was the first day of all 28 performances of the tour of Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii.

Through good luck I got the last few tickets.

1787 seats venue was already full before the show.

The first half Debussy; the second half Chopin

I was allowed to enjoy the world of two great composers.

Complaints of nuances of Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii indeed!

The piano sound reached every corner of the venue

Nogaseru(?)  until the moment I do not hear the sound disappearing

Passage like pouring gently wrapped the venue

Final encore of four songs great service.

He spoke before the second song, his own comosition.

There must have been pressure on the first day of the tour.

I felt a different sense in the air during the encore performance, unlike in the program.

Tsujii is now in his 20s.

I felt a good personality ooze from his playing.

I look forward to more growth in the future...

今日の辻井伸行さんのコンサートは…感涙。

どんな風に練習をしているんだろう。

今日の演目はドビュッシーの2つのアラベスク/他

雨の庭という曲が始まった時のドキドキ感といったらない！

彼も快活に弾くのね。

この曲は注釈がもともと、ハキハキと。なんだけれども、

「雨の庭」という重め？のイメージとはちょっと違う印象を持つ曲です。

後半はショパン。

彼がもっとも得意と聞いているショパンです。

（得意とする曲だったかは、私の記憶があいまい）

難易度MAXの演目では会場が引き込まれていました。

アンコールは自作を含め、4曲も弾いてくれて、

日本ツアーの初日、このプログラムでのコンサートに不安があったという話のくだりでは、

会場が拍手と笑いに包まれました。

それにしても、聴衆の心を振るわせる美しい響き。

あぁ・・また聴きに行きたい。

これからも期待され、ハードルも上がり、

相当なプレッシャーを背負うのだろうけれど、頑張って下さいね。

I wonder in how he has been practicing.

Today's repertoire includes Debussy's Arabesque  two

I was excited when the song called rain garden began!

It was played cheerfully by him.

This song's expression is original, and clear.  But "Rain Garden" was heavier?  It's different from my impression of this song.

The second half is Chopin.  I heard that Chopin is his best. (My memory is fuzzy.) They were the most difficult in the repertoire.

There were four encores, including his own compositions.

The first day of the tour, there must have been anxiety about the program of the concert. But applause and laughter filled the hall.

In any case, the beautiful sound seized the hearts of the audience.

I want to listen again.

His future is promising, but the hurdles will increase.

And the pressure on him will be considerable.  I wish him well.

どんな演奏が聴けるのだろうかと、胸が高鳴ります。（いつもは（趣味で）演奏する側ですが、聴く側になっても胸が高鳴るのですね！）

アラベスクから始まった本日の演奏会。

友人が弾いた曲だ！とか思いながら、あっという間にベルガマスク組曲に。

自分が演奏した曲をじっくり聴いていたら、自分がイメージする雰囲気とは全然違うのでびっくりしました。

スピート感と力強さが違う！！

メヌエット、こんな華やかな曲だっけ？映える曲だなぁ。

パスピエ、怪しげな曲調だけど、すてき。

パゴダ、東洋なのか西洋なのか異次元空間にタイムスリップ。

雨の庭、雨降らないで。と騒ぐ子どもが。

喜びの島、色とりどりの飴が降っていました。

ドビュッシーの曲を聴いていたら、その時の気分によって目の前の景色が変わるような、そんな気がしてとてもよい気持ちになりました。

ショパンは、ショパンです。（当たり前だけど）

ショパンの曲ぢから、強すぎ！そこが良いところだけれどね。

辻井さんのとても力強い、けれど、透き通った演奏、素晴らしかったですよ。

... Venue grew dark, Tsujii appeared on stage.  I play a piano (as a hobby) and my heart pounding normally, also my heart pounding, though I hear a piano performance today.

(I am normally a performance side and my heart pounding, though today I was an audience side and also my heart pounding.)

Today's concert began with Arabesque. It is a song played by a friend!

While I was thinking that, the Bergamask Suite came on quickly. I was listening

carefully to the songs that I myself played, and I was surprised

because it is totally different in atmosphere and the image of my

rendition.  Great strength and feelings!

Menuet, was it a gorgeous song like this? The song really shone <in Tsujii's hands>.

Passepied, shady, wonderful.

Pagoda, eastern and western in different dimensions in a time warp. Garden of rain, and boisterous children, because they don’t want to rain and they wish it would stop raining.

Pleasure Island, raining colorful candy.

Listening to his Debussy, the mood of the landscape unfolding front of me, I've come to believe that it was very good and it made me feel good.

Chopin is Chopin. (But of course)

His Chopin is a little too strong! But

there is goodness.

Mr. Tsujii is very strong, but his

play is crystal clear.  It was great.

「辻井伸行日本ツアー2012/13」の初日のコンサートに行きました。千葉県文化会館を皮切りに来年の2月まで全国２７ヶ所のツアーです。以前から辻井伸行のコンサートに行きたかったのですが、なかなかチケットを入手するのが難しく、ようやく念願がかないました。

曲目はドビュッシーとショパンの二人の作曲家の曲で、それぞれ４曲ずつ、計８曲を演奏しました。ドビュッシーの曲は聞いたことがない曲でよく分かりません でしたが、ショパンの曲は幻想ポロネーズや英雄ポロネーズなど、知っている曲があり、聞いているうちにうっとりさせられました。チケットの入手が困難のも 理解できます。なんと流麗で力強く、しかも繊細。２時間のコンサート中、夢の中をさまよっている感じがしました。素敵な２時間をありがとう。

アンコールも４曲やってくれて、最後にNHKの震災復興ソング、「花は咲く」のピアノソロはとても素晴らしかった

I went to the concert on the first day of the "Nobuyuki Tsujii  Japan tour 2012/13 ." A tour of 27 sites across the country until February of next year, starting in Chiba Prefecture Cultural Hall. I had wanted to go to a concert of Nobuyuki Tsujii  before, but it was quite difficult to get a ticket.  My wish had finally come true. Four songs each of composers Debussy and Chopin - he played a total of eight songs. Songs of Debussy I did not know.  I've never heard the song of Chopin such as the heroic polonaise.  He was bewitching while you are listening. I can understand why it is difficult to obtain tickets.  He was strong in the flowing, yet delicate. Feeling during the two-hour concert was as if I was wandering in a dream. Thank you for a wonderful two hours.  He also played four songs for encore; the piano solo  NHK earthquake reconstruction song "flowers bloom"  at the end was great.

妻の誕生日から早数ヶ月。。。が、

まだ何もわたしてませんでしたｗ

そんなわけで今夜は誕生日プレゼントということで

やってまいりました。 私個人のピアノコンサートは

２年前の熊本マリさん以来で久しぶりです。

１９：１０頃開演。 アンコール４曲を含め ２１．３０終了。

あまりに心地よすぎて眠気を誘われる時もありましたが（笑）

あっというまでしたね。音色はどこまでも優しく透明で

しかも人柄にも好感が持てます。

盲目のピアニスト 辻井さんは おそらく神から選ばれた

おひとだと思いますが 今夜はその思いを確信した次第です。

こんなに手が痛くなる程 拍手したのは久しぶりした。

Nobuyuki Tsujii Japan Tour 2012-13 at Kissei Cultural Hall

This concert is an early birthday present for my wife.   Myself, the last time I went to a concert was two years ago. 

Started around 19:10. Ended at 21.30. Including 4 songs for encore. There was a time that I was so comfortable that I felt sleepy (laugh). Gentle and clear tone throughout, and likable personality also.

Tonight confirmed to me that blind pianist Mr. Tsujii was chosen by God, I clapped my hands so much that it was painful. Thanks SERENA(wife's name?).   Thank you Mr. Tsujii!

辻井伸行さん♪日本ツアー

機会があったら絶対聴きたいと思っていた、辻井伸行さん日本ツアーに行ってきました。

ツアー当日まで、カレンダーを見ては指折り数えていた毎日。曲目はドビュッシー、ショパン。クラシックの中でも誰もが聴いたことがあり、私も大好きな曲ばかり。アンコールは４曲も弾いてくださり、最後はご挨拶も。温かいお人柄で感動の連続でした。

享受というのは、日々の練習や演奏の土台になりモチベーションになるものと、再認識した今日この頃です。

There was a chance to got to hear something that I thought I definitely wanted to hear , Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii's Japan tour.

I was counting the days to the concert. Debussy and Chopin pieces. They are songs that are often heard in classical music, and I just love them.

Also four encores,  the last one with a message. I was impressed by his warm personality.

And the experience will l become the foundation of motivation and performance of my day-to-day practice, the benefit of which once again recognized .

１０月１２日（金）は松本市のキッセイ文化ホールで行われた「辻井伸行・日本ツアー2012/13」を家内と聴きに行きました。

２，０００席の大ホールはびっしりと埋まって、満席でした。... 大きな拍手に答えて、４曲アンコールを弾いてくれました。...

彼の弾くピアノは澄んで、透明度の高い、きれいな音色で、そして、清々しい美しさが、あたたか味と共に伝わってきました

私 はピアノの技術的なことはよく分かりませんが、クラシックギターでも同じですが、音の美しさは弾き手の求める以上のものは出て来ず、また、弾き手の持つ人 間性以上のものも表現されません。彼の演奏には、素直な爽やかな人間性が自然に表れているように私には感じられました。

まだ、２４歳と若いので、これからどう成長し、どう円熟していくか楽しみな演奏家だと思います。

 October 12 (Fri) Kissei Culture Hall in Matsumoto : I went to listen twith my wife to a recital of  "Nobuyuki Tsujii  2012/13, Japan tour, ". 

The Great Hall  was choke full,  2000 seats were sold out... In response to great applause, Ihe gave an encore of four songs...

His piano playing  is clear, with  a high degree of transparency, a clean tone and pure beauty, transmitted along with the warm taste.

I do not know much about the techniique ofl piano, but a little about the classical guitar. The  beauty of the sound I heard is more than represented by a guitarist . In his performance, I felt a refreshing naturalness and gentle humanity .

Still only 24 years old and so young, he is developing now, I look forward to enjoying him as he continues to mature.

時間が経つのも忘れる辻井伸行さんの日本ツアー2012

長野県松本市のキッセイ文化ホールで行われた「辻井伸行日本ツアー2012/13」に行ってきました。

辻井さんは、日本を代表するピアニストの一人です。

曲目はドビュッシー（2つのアラベスク・ベルガマスク組曲・版画・喜びの島）、ショパン（華麗なる大円舞曲、スケルツォ第二番、幻想ポロネーズ、英雄ポロネーズ）です。

音楽は素人なので、感じたことのみを書きます。

一番感じたのは、辻井さんが、とても楽しんで、ピアノを弾いており、こちらも楽しくなる！ということです。

ドビュッシーの曲は、長野にマッチしている感じました。具体的には、夏の草原の風景や冬の山の風景が曲を聴いていたら浮かんできました。

ショパンは情熱的であり、冷静であり、感情の起伏を感じる曲でした。

いずれも、素晴らしく2時間のコンサートがあっというまでした。

長野も芸術の秋です。

Nobuyuki Tsujii's 2012 Japan tour - to forget even time flies

I went to the "tour 2012/13 of Japan."concert of Nobuyuki  held at the Cultural Hall Kissei in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture

Tsujii is one of Japan's leading pianists.

(Chopin: grand waltz, scherzo, Polonaise Fantasy, Polonaise hero) (Debussy: Pleasure Island, Bergamuse Suite, Arabesque- two )

Since I am an  amateur in music, I write only what I felt.

Tsujii is really enjoyable, and most of all i felt his joy in playing the piano.

Songs of Debussy I felt  match Nagano well.  While listening to the songs, I was floating in landscpaes of mountains inwinter and grassland in summer.

His Chopin is a passionate and calm.  I felt the emotional ups and downs in the songs.

The two-hour concert was wonderful.

This concert is now listed as 完売 (SOLD OUT) on Avex's page - which makes every stop a sold-out, except for the last three (which do not take place until Feb 2013 and tickets have yet to come on sale).

In spite of a severe storm, Nobuyuki Tsujii performed in Okinawa last night (Oct 17) as scheduled.    Nobu played a improvisation in the image of Okinawa and told the audience that he loves coming to the island (he has said he enjoys swimming while vacationing in Okinawa).

繊細で透き通った音色を響かせる辻井伸行さん＝１７日、宜野湾市の沖縄コンベンションセンター

国際的に活躍するピアニスト辻井伸行さんの公演「日本ツアー２０１２／１３」（琉球新報社主催、沖縄観光コンベンションビューロー共催）が１７日、宜野湾 市の沖縄コンベンションセンターであった。辻井さんは生誕１５０年を迎えたドビュッシーの「２つのアラベスク」や、ショパンの「英雄ポロネーズ」などを演 奏。繊細で清らかな響きが、満場の観衆を酔わせた。公演は琉球新報創刊１２０年、沖縄コンベンションセンター設立２５周年記念事業。

辻井さんの沖縄公演は２００９年以来３年ぶり。辻井さんは「ハイサイ。人が温かくて、大好きな沖縄で演奏できてうれしい」と来場者に語り掛けた。

沖縄で受けた印象を表現したという優しい旋律を即興で奏で、拍手に包まれた。

Internationally renowned Pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii's "2012/13 Japan Tour " concert (sponsored by the Ryukyu News, Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau jointly) took place on the 17th, at the Okinawa Convention Center in Ginowan. Mr. Tsujii celebrated the 150 years And Debussy, which celebrated 150th birthday of composer Debussy with playing "Deux Arabesque" , as well as Chopin works such as the "Heroic Polonaise". His delicate and pure sound intoxicated the sold-out crowd.  The event also marked 120 years of Ryukyu News since its launch, and the 25th anniversary of concert business establishment at the Okinawa Convention Center.

It was Mr. Tsujii's first performance in Okinawa since 2009. Tsujii spoke to the audience: "Hello, warm people.  I am glad to be able to perform at my favorite Okinawa."

He played an improvised melody that expresses a gentle impression that he received of Okinawa, and was wrapped in applause.

昨日は嵐の中、辻井伸 行さんのコンサート行ってきた。交通機関止まったら、演奏途中でも中止とか言われたから『工ｴｴｪｪ(´д｀)ｪｪｴｴ工』ってなったけど、結局アンコー ル2曲までやってくれた。時間も遅れて始まったしなんか、急ぎ足な気もしたけど…。Yesterday in the storm,  I went to Nobuyuki Tsujii's concert.  Traffic stopped.  I was afraid that he would stop at any time when the storm alert would come on.  But he played two encore songs after all.  In the late hour, I had to hurry home.

Tour 2012/13 Japan Nobuyuki Tsujii

台風ということもあり、外の渋滞を考慮に入れていただいたのか、定刻より２０分遅れで開演。Due to the storm and the traffic, start of the event was delayed by 20 minutes

前半はドビッシー、後半はショパンという２部構成でした。 The first half was Debussy, the second Chopin.

前 半のドビッシーでは一音一音が羽根のように軽やかで、繻子のような柔らかな演奏を、後半のショパンでは一転して芯のある力強い演奏を披露して下さいまし た。In the first half the Debuusy was sound after sound, light as a feather.  The playing was soft satiny.  In the second half, the performance showcased strength, a reversal.

ピアノってこんなにいろいろな色を奏でられるだと改めて気づかされた夜。On this night I am reminded again that thr piano can be played with a range of colors.

残 念ながら辻井さんの指が見えない位置に座っていたため、どれほど素早く滑らかに指が鍵盤を叩いていたのかはわからなかったのですが、あれだけの超絶技巧な のに上体はあまり揺れていませんでした。Because of the position of my seat, I was not able to see the fingers of Mr. Tsujii.  It seems that his fingers were not pounding on the keyboard but was instead moving quickly and smoothly.  He was not rocking his upper body more than other virtuosos.

指先はきっと目に見えない速さで動いてたんだろうな……。 It seems that his fingers were moving faster than the eyes can see anyway ...

当 たり前のことなんですが、あれだけ速い演奏なのに、一音一音がしっかり響いてることに感動しました。Even though his fingers were moving so fast, I was impressed that each sound came out with a firm echo.

音が転ばない、走らない、飛ばない……。これがプロなんですよね。The sound does not fade, run, or fly ... hallmark of a professional

感 動したことは他にもあって、人によってこんなにも同じ曲なのに表情が違うのか！と目からうろこな演奏が聴けたことでした。I was impressed that there are such various expressions on works by the same composer! My eyes were opened as I listened to his performance.

喜びの島はすごく活気があるというか、夏のギラギラな陽射し？Pleasure Island was very vibrant, a glare of summer sunshine?

以 前、講座の先輩が演奏している動画をみた時に感じた柔らかな淡いイメージとはまったく違った雰囲気を纏っていました。 His soft touch conveyed a completely different image and atmosphere from when I watched video of the same piece on video played by more senior pianisits.

英雄 ポロネーゼは若々しい、明日の可能性を信じている若さ故に恐れを恐れとして感じない力強さを演奏から感じました。The Herioic Polonaise was powerful, indicating a fearlessness that comes with someone young and confident of the future.

演奏家の感性ってこんなにも違うものなんですね……。The sensitivity of performers can be so different.

辻 井さんはアンコールが好きで何曲も演奏したくなるとのことでしたが、今回は外が嵐ということもあり、アンコールさ２曲。I was looking forward to his encores, but this time, perhaps because of the storm, he only played two songs.

沖縄をイメージして即興で弾いて下さった曲が、柔らかで「うりずん」の季節のようで……譜面におこ してくれないかな、音源とってアルバム収録してくれないかなと、この一瞬の為なのはもったいないくらい素敵な曲でした。He played an improvisation of his image of Okinawa, Soft, like  spring ( うりずん" is an Okinawa term for the season form February to March/April (as in Chinese calendar) in Okinawa, according to one dictionary - thanks to Nobu fans for explaining this) ... The sound was uplifting,  I wish they would make a music sheet out of this improvisation, or put that piece in an album. It was just too good for that moment only.

ま た来沖していただけそうな雰囲気だったので嵐にもめげずにまた素敵な演奏をこの地で奏でていただけたらと思いますComing offshore <to Okinawa>, he  played well in this place in spite of the storm.

といわけで、下の娘2人と私はお留守番です。。

生で聴く辻井さんのピアノは響くものが違うんでしょうね。。

辻井伸行さんのピアノコンサート行って来ました。

台風の風雨で交通渋滞が発生したようで、開始時間が伸びました。

コンベンションセンター劇場棟

第１部：ドビュッシー

２つのアラベスク、ベルガマスク組曲、版画、喜びの島、

第２部：ショパン

華麗なる大円舞曲、スケルツォ第２番、幻想ポロネーズ、英雄ポロネーズ

また何年か後、さらに成長というか成熟されたころに

オーケストラとコンチェルトで聞きたいなと思いました。

沖縄にはプライベートで毎年のように泳ぎいらしているそうです。

NHKの番組『明日へ』の主題歌を演奏されました。

10月17日発売 ⇛ 東日本復興支援ソング「花は咲く」

著作権は義援金となるそうです。

購入して帰りの渋滞の車内で聞いてました。

おかげでまったくイライラしませんでした（笑)

I went to Nobuyuki Tsujii's piano concert. Traffic congestion seems to have occurred in the wind and rain of the typhoon, I arrived at the Convention center Building near start time. 

Debussy Part 1: Pleasure Island,  Arabesque two, Suite Bergamask, Part 2: Chopin No. 2 Large Brilliant Waltz , scherzo, Polonaise Fantasy, Herioic Polonaise.  Encore: impression Impromptus (Okinawa) , flowers bloom.   Chopin was good and already better after a few years, as he matures.  I think I want to hear him in a concerto with an orchestra. He said Okinawa is personal to him, as he comes here every year to swim.  Played the theme song of the "Tomorrow" program on NHK, "flowers bloom", released on October 17.  His copyright is likely to be a donation. I heard in the car on the way home that there was a rush to buy <the album>.

I was not frustrated at all, thanks.

今、２１号台風が

吹き荒れています。

今夜零時頃に沖縄に最接近のようで、勢力もジグザグしている間に弱まって気圧９８０hpa、最大風速も３０メートルになっています。それで今回は台風対策もしませんでした。

今頃から大分風が強くなってきました。

妻は第１３回バン・クライバーン国際ピアノ コンクールで日本人として初めての優勝を果たした盲目のピアニスト辻井伸行（つじい のぶゆき）さんのコンサートが宜野湾市のコンベンションセンターであるとかで１８時頃出かけてなかなか帰って来ないので、携帯にメールを入れたらもう近く まで来ているとの返事で安心しました

The wind was strongest at midnight, and has  since weakened ....

My wife left at 6PM to the convention center for the concert of Nobuyuki Tsujii .... and I was relieved when she got back safely ...

昨夜は暴風警報が発令されている中

辻井伸行さんのコンサートが開催されました

どうなるかヒヤヒヤもんでしたが

無事開催となってよかった〜

２時間ぐらいのコンサートでしたが

素晴らしい音色に感動

早い曲でも1音1音が綺麗に出てて、よかったです ...

Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii

Last night, although a storm warning had been issued, the concert of Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii was held without incident - I'm glad it took place safely.  It  was a concert of two hours, I was moved by the great tone and clean sound.  In the fast-paced songs, sound by sound came out beautifully, very nice...

At 2AM local time on the day of the concert, the weather was 85F, the humidity is 87%, Winds NE at 25 to 35 mph, and the chance of rain 100%.  Let's hope that Nobu has arrived on the island safely and the ride was not too bumpy.

Days before, there was the threat of a typhoon, judging from this tweet:

そんな場合は、熱々の作り立てを、その場で作って出すのだそうです。

今回の有名人のケータリングは、盲目のピアニスト、辻井伸行さんを担当したんですって。

元々洋食の料理人ですが、今回は、琉球料理をおり混ぜながらのmenuにしたそうです〜

その辻井さんが大絶賛、とても喜んでくれたそうです、さすが(^-^) ...

...Today, I will write about  KO-CHAN catering. He is used to offering a catering service to Yuming (famous Japanese singer/song-writer) on her tour and prepares her meals too.

He cooks her food on the spot, so that the food is freshly prepared.

He told me this time he was in charge of catering a celebrity: blind pianist Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii.

He is originally a Western cuisine cook, but the menu is a mix of original Western dishes and Okinawa cuisine.

He told me that Mr. Tsujii raved about the food. He was so very pleased.

 I'm impressed. (as may be expected of a good cook)...

... さて、私は今回、またまた芸術の秋を堪能。(最近は、すっかり寒くなってきましたが.....って言いながら沖縄はまだブラウス一枚でも過ごせますよーん)辻井伸行さんのピアノコンサートに行ってきました

辻井さんと言えば、盲目のピアニストとして有名ですが、私は初めて辻井さんのピアノをテレビで聴いたとき、鳥肌がたちました。だから今回沖縄に来るのを知って、一度、生で聴いてみたいと思ったのです

赤ちゃんの頃から、演奏家を聞き分けていたとかって話も聞いたことがありますが、本人はもちろんのこと、その才能に気付いた親がすごいなと思います。そして、ここまで子供の能力を伸ばしてあげれたことって本当に素晴らしいなと思います

私 は一応３歳からピアノを習っていましたが、あまり上達もしなかったし（笑）、本格的に音楽の勉強もしていないから、意見は言えないのですが、辻井さんのピ アノは本当に心を打たれました。「うまい」とか「上手」とかいうより、この人は「心」で奏でているんだなぁというのが素人の私にさえ伝わってきました。だ から、聴いていて心から感動するし、辻井さんの人柄も想像できるような演奏でした

アンコールでは、沖縄をイメージした即興演奏を披露してくれ、こ こでも私は超超超興奮して、鳥肌が立ちました即興演奏を生で聴いたのは、生まれて初めて目が見えないのに、なんでここまで豊かに感じ、表現することが出来 るんだろう。そして、辻井さんの演奏で今一番聴きたかったＮＨＫの東日本復興支援ソング『花は咲く』（私、この曲、大好きなんです）を演奏してくださいま した。もう、本当に胸いっぱい世界的ピアニストの演奏に触れ、見聞を広めることができました

辻井さんはトークもとってもおもしろくて、これも彼が人気がある理由の一つなんだろうなと思いました

 Birthday and Nobuyuki Tsujii 2012/13 Tour

... Well, this time, I once again enjoy the autumn of art. (Recently, Okinawa ... has become quite cold) I went to a piano concert of Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii

Speaking of Mr. Tsujii, famous as a blind pianist:  when I heard on TV for the first time his piano, I got goose bumps.  When I heard that he was coming to Okinawa this time, I thought at once that I wanted to listen to him live.

I think that he showed promises as a musican since he was a baby, but I thought it is really amazing that his talent was recognized by his parents, who brought him up and extended the capabilities of the child so well.

I took piano lessons from the age of three (laughs), but have not studied music in earnest, so my opinion is not expert, but as an amateur, I know that  the "heart" of this person has been transmitted to me . So I was sincerely impressed as I listened, and I could only imagine the character behind the playing.

In the encore, his improvisation of the image of Okinawa was really superb -- it gave me goose-bumps.  Without being able to see with his eyes, he was able to express so much.  And I love his playing of the  NHK East reconstruction assistance song "Flowers bloom".  I was grateful for the opportunity to hear the playing of a world-class pianist and my knowledge has been really broadened.

His talk was also very interesting, and I guess that is one of the reasons why Mr. Tsujii is so popular.

He played with "heart". I also want to play like that.
