Best Costume Ideas for Halloween

Halloween costumes are always something I stress about for the entire month of October or longer. Between dressing up for school, a party or two, and the actual Halloween night (that you should always trick or treat at... no matter how old you are...)! This year I have compiled a long list of ideas for you and your friends to use when planning; we've got singles, duos, trios, couples, and more!

Singles

The Wicked Weiner! Okay, now if you know vine then you know this is a classic that will always get laughs from YOUR people. This costume probably won't be seen a lot because the age of remembering vine is nearly out of our schools. All you need for this costume is a hot dog suit off amazon and a witches hat.

Angel & Devil!

You've probably seen this a million times but it's a classic. You can never go wrong with the bff duo on this one. You could even take this couples style, too. Plus... it's always fun to decide whos who.

Netflix & Chill

This is another classic that's honestly getting old in my opinion. I did this my freshman year and I will say this is one that you can throw together last minute, which is nice. All you need is a red and blue shirt and a sharpie at the very least.

Cher & Dionne

From Clueless! Now don't sue me... but I've personally never seen this movie. However, that doesn't mean I wouldn't wear this duo costume and rock it too. These fits and classic school girl and adorable!

Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie

I've never seen this one either but Paris Hilton is a baddie and I don't hate these denim fits. If you have a little dog this would be a great way to incorporate them too!

The Olsen Twins

Throw it back and dress up as these twin baddies! You can take this in a lot of different directions as these two are still wearing new and beautiful looks everyday. If you have a twin this would be iconic.

Kendall & Kylie

Now if this isn't a duo for the ages, I don't know who is. Kendall and Kylie rocked this now famous look at the 2019 Met Gala. This has been redone many times since then in serious and joking ways.

Rick & Morty

Another tik tok trend come alive. You will quite literally have to bring these two to life as they are animated. You can even walk around and play Rick and Morty on repeat.

Berries

Berries and Cream! This one comes from tik tok, and if you don't know it then just keep scrolling. If you d, you know this could be hilarious. You could even make it a trio costume and find someone to be your little lad!

& Cream

Trios

People always say three's a crowd. Not with Halloween costumes though. These trio costumes will make you and your two besties drool.

The Powerpuff Girls

This is one I've always wanted to try but haven't yet. This signature costume has been done many times and always looks awesome.

Hocus Pocus Witches

The movie Hocus Pocus is a classic Halloween film that has definitely been getting the recognition it deserves recently. This is also a good one if you're trying to go traditional Halloween costumes like a witch or zombie.

The Winx Club Fairies

The Winx Club is a super fun and cutsie one. This can also be done in pretty much any number group because there are so many fairies. It's so fun to pick which one you'll be!

Charlie's Angels

This original 2000s movie regained some fame in 2019 when it was remade. These costumes are chic and sexy and can be dressed up or down. You can even add wings for fun since you're "angels."

Mean Girls

Another classic movie to recreate. Mean girls is a fun one and you can pick this example of a classic look of theirs or any from the movie. The Santa outfits from their rendition of "Jingle Bell Rock" is also commonly done. You can keep this one a trio with Regina, Gretchen and Katie or add Cady(Lindsay Lohan) if you want to make it a Quad group!

Quads

Along with some of the other possible quad groups that I've already mentioned, there is more that will do well this Halloween year!

Cheetah Girls

Cheetah Girls! If you have not seen all of the Cheetah Girls Movies, I highly recommend you get on that. I wanted to be these girls so bad when I was younger and they are the perfect halloween costume for four besties.

The Flintstones

This costume is super easy if you have a grandma that can sew. Just buy the color fabric you need and make her do it! This is also a good couples costume!

Wizard of Oz Group

This is a great family costume and I would know because my family did it when I was little and we won the best group costume award at the St. John's Halloween Costume Party. You can make this a friend group costume as well.

Mario Cart Bros & their Chicks

Now, everyone loves to race in Mario Cart, so why not dress up as them and bring the race to life. For fun you could even add cardboard car boxes to run around in. Another good couple costume, but as you can see it can be done by all girls or all boys too. Make it all of the characters if you are doing a huge group or a class costume at school.

Quins

Groups of 5 costumes are hard to find probably because a group of 5 best friends rarely makes it through high school... lol. Anyway, there are still a few. Here they are:

Spice Girls!

Duh! These ladies are iconic and a group for the baddies of the world. Even though the Spice Girls are from the 90s, this costume idea is timeless.

Scooby Doo Group

These meddling kids are a popular group costume that can be made sexy or school appropriate. If you wanted to make it a quad group and have your great dane be Scooby, then you could do that too!

Randos

These are the costumes that don't require a number and aren't as iconic. However, they are still fun ones if you and your group need ideas.
