We had such an exciting week with our Year 3 and 4 classes enjoying a fantastic school trip to the Catalyst Museum in Runcorn! It was truly a day of discovery and hands-on learning. The children were absolutely brilliant, engaging with all the interactive exhibits, participating enthusiastically in workshops, and showing incredible curiosity about the world of science and industry. From exploring the periodic table to understanding forces, they made real-world connections to their classroom learning in such a memorable way. It was a joy to see their faces light up as they conducted experiments and unravelled scientific mysteries.
A huge thank you to all the staff and parent volunteers who helped make this wonderful educational experience possible. We believe these real-world learning opportunities are so important in helping our children develop their understanding and love for learning! You can see some wonderful photos from our trip on our social media pages, and do keep an eye on our website for more updates about our enriching curriculum.
We are absolutely bursting with pride to share some wonderful news from the recent Poetry Festival at Storyhouse in Chester! A very special well done goes to our fantastic pupil from Badgers Class who bravely and beautifully performed a poem on stage. Standing up in front of an audience, in such a renowned venue, truly showcases their incredible courage, confidence, and passion for words. We know how much hard work went into preparing their performance, and they represented Wincham Community Primary School magnificently. Opportunities like these are invaluable for building self-esteem and allowing our children to express themselves creatively. It was a truly inspiring event, and we were so proud to see one of our own shine so brightly. This is just one example of the many ways we encourage our children to develop their talents and find their voice.

We have some truly wonderful news to share about the incredible artistic talents of our children! Our brilliant pupils in Years 2 and 4 have been working together and have created two magnificent pieces of artwork on large canvases.
We are so proud to announce that these fantastic artworks are part of the Northwich Education Partnership art display! You can see their masterpieces right there in Baron's Quay for the next two weeks.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our children to showcase their creativity to the wider community, and we are absolutely bursting with pride at their hard work and artistic flair.
Please do make some time to pop down to Baron's Quay over the next fortnight and see their amazing creations for yourselves. It's a wonderful way to celebrate the talent we have here at Wincham Community Primary School!
