I hope you all had a truly wonderful Easter break, filled with joy, laughter, and perhaps a few chocolate treats! It's fantastic to have all our bright and happy faces back at Wincham Community Primary School this week. The school feels alive again with your energy and enthusiasm for learning.
As we embark on this final term of the school year, the summer term, it's a really important time for learning and making the most of every single school day. Good attendance is key to ensuring that your child doesn't miss out on any of the exciting lessons and activities we have planned. We kindly ask that you continue to prioritise attendance and punctuality and avoid taking holidays during term time, as this can significantly impact your child's progress.
With the warmer weather hopefully on its way, please could you ensure your child comes to school each day with a named sun hat. We want to make sure everyone stays safe and protected from the sun during outdoor play and activities. Just a little reminder too, that school staff are unable to apply suntan lotion to the children, so please do remember to apply this before your child comes to school in the morning.
Finally, please can you make sure that your child brings their water bottle home every evening so that it can be washed and refilled with fresh water for the next day. Staying hydrated is so important, especially as the days get warmer!
We have so much to look forward to this term, from exciting curriculum topics to sports days and special events. We are all really looking forward to a busy and productive few months.
Thank you for your continued support in making Wincham Community Primary School such a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow.
Please take a few minutes to support the Parish Council by providing information for the survey. Consultation on your views is an important part of the grant process.
I'd like to remind all parents of the correct uniform for the school, with the warmer weather here for a while. All information is on the website here.
Please note that children should not come to school in crocs or sliders at all, and no trainers unless it is their day for PE.
There is a wealth of support for parents available online, beyond social media networks. We try to share as much professional information as we can to support you at home.

It's always nice to have some lovely feedback! Parents often mention in passing how happy their children are, how much they have enjoyed their learning, or how they are grateful for a particular member of staff who has gone above and beyond.
Scan the QR code or click the button below for an opportunity to thank a member of Team Wincham for their hard work and efforts to provide the best opportunities and care.
There are a range of services we can signpost to, including financial support. There is a wide range of information available on the school website. This includes the Foodbank, free uniform, wider support with rising cost of living, and a range of other things.
If you are struggling financially, please don't hesitate to speak to Mr Boot or Ms Boag-Munroe.
