Current Legend Trident Powers
Assaults don't have anything
Can no longer test the Death Totem because they deleted Revenant the Silencer. I think his Silence was able to stick to tridents though.
I forget if Maggie's drill sticks to the trident. That's more offensive/ not us in the trident than utility/defensive/ we're the ones in the trident.
Recons don't have anything, except Crypto who can use his drone while riding shotgun.
Supports
Gibraltar Dome
DOC
Mobile Shield (awkward normally)
Conduit, Loba, and Mirage have nothing.
Skirmishers
Octane's jump pad bounces off
Need to test Horizon and Alter
Nothings: Pathfinder, Wraith, Revenant the Mobile, Valkyrie
Controllers
Caustic can trap the trident
Watson can plant a Pylon on it
Rampart can place a wall in the hood and a turret on the back
Catalyst can put spikes on it awkwardly, and not very effectively.
Trident Powers and alterations (Ideas)
Assault
Bangalore: Can use tactical while driving to emit smoke around the trident, even emitting a smoke trail.
Fuse: TBD
Revenant the Silencer: Mount the Death Totem on the back, causing those respawning at it to respawn in the trident. Also can stick Silence to enemy tridents.
Ash: Can use her phase tear to target the trident and automatically mount into the trident. The trident can move a little bit but must remain both in line of sight of the teleport spot and within range.
Mad Maggie: Can stick her Drill on enemy tridents to force them to evacuate it or take severe damage.
Ballistic: Can stick his Whistler to enemy tridents, applying Overheat to all aboard.
Skirmisher
Pathfinder: Can cast his Grapple, even while driving, and use it like a Sea of Thieves harpoon for rounding corners swiftly.
Wraith: Can cast phase while driving to phase the Trident and everyone on board.
Octane: Can place jump pad on the hood. Can cast Stim to boost the charge rate of the trident's boost, allowing him to boost sooner.
Revenant the Mobile: While driving, can cast leap to launch the trident into the air. At max charge, launches almost as high as a jump pad.
Horizon: Can place black hole on the hood. While driving, can cast lift to place it beneath the trident, and slightly in the direction they are going, to launch them into the air via lift.
Valkyrie: Can cast her rocket pods while driving. Jump no longer has Valkyrie exit the trident, rather it activates jets under the trident to act like thrusters, allowing for a slow increase in elevation, or slower fall if falling into height gain if you have the fuel or land and keep holding thruster. Thruster has about as much fuel as Jetpack, probably same fuel bar, but is weaker because the trident is big and thus heavy.
Alter: Can place portal on trident. Can place fallback on the hood of the trident, which will summon people above it.
Recon
Bloodhound: TBD
Crypto: Can mount his drone to the hood or the back of the trident. Good for long range transit because the drone is slower than a trident. Also somewhat good for giving the drone a little more protection, especially if on the back, because of the walls around the mount spot. Gives the drone 360 degree view, rather than a vision cone, if on the hood. On the back makes it like a rear view camera, very protected.
Seer: Can place his heart on the trident. While moving, the ult has reduced range.
Vantage: Can place echo in a seat. He doesn't lock the seat. While echo is seated, Vantage can use her jets while having line of sight on the trident, rather than purely on echo, and is automatically mounted into an available seat of the trident, preferring echo's seat.
Support
Gibraltar: Altered dome that isn't as high but still protects them, mostly. Baby dome is smaller but still protects the trident, just better as it becomes very difficult for enemies to enter. If there is nothing on the hood, Gibraltar can cast his tactical while driving to automatically put it on the hood.
Lifeline: While driving, if nothing is on the hood, can cast DOC to automatically put it on the hood.
Mirage: While seated in the trident, can cast Decoy or his Ult to decoy many tridents with his team mounted in it. If no one is driving, the decoy drives the decoy trident instead of being seated in passenger with no one driving.
Loba: Can mount her Black Market on the trident. While driving, she can cast her teleport, but it can only go where the trident can go. Anywhere else is a recall/cancel.
NewCastle: When Mobile Shield is cast on the trident, is differs in its form, but still has upper and lower shield. Front: The bottom is normal but the top arcs back to better protect the driver. Back: The whole shield arcs to better protect everyone on board. NewCastle can cast his mobile shield while driving to place it in an open slot, prioritizing hood, unless he looks back then casts it.
Conduit: Has a faster boost recharge speed due to energy runoff from her battery.
Controller
Caustic: Traps
Watson: Pylon. At one point I was thinking of a way to allow fences on the trident, and deny them from connecting to ground, but that would still be kind of broken either way, so I kind of scrapped that.
Rampart: Mount amp walls on passenger sides. When mounting amp walls on the hood, the whole thing is amp and isn't as wide because it gets in passenger's faces. It is more durable than the amp part of her walls, but not as tough as the bottom portion. Turret on back as normal. Also, she can use Mobile Shiela while driving to mount it to the hood temporarily, replacing boost while she has it active.
Catalyst: Can mount spikes to the hood, engulfing the trident in spikes, basically preventing enemies from using that trident until they take out the spikes, otherwise causing them damage because of their ignorance. Also a great way to punish enemy tridents if you can hit their trident with a spikes ball and they have nothing mounted on the hood.

Wanted Upgrades
One who adds a permanent shield to the trident, that Watson's Pylon can recharge.
Either Rampart, NewCastle, or Gibraltar. Or a new character.
Gibraltar: Dome (major alteration to how that works)
probably by targeting the back instead, or targeting the pylon if it's placed, but without a Watson it'd probably be target the back
NewCastle: Castle Wall (major alteration but probably similar durability, might even keep the temporary electrification)
Best one honestly, as it's an Ultimate shielder and the shield for Trident seems kinda OP, so an Ultimate's Cast it should be.
Rampart: Amp Wall, all 3 charges (honestly I'd prefer NewCastle's, and let hers be individual seat buffing.)
ALSO: This shield can be shot through by those in the trident, and is similar to Star Trek Online's (STO's) honestly.
Bubble like mostly. Less like dome shield. It's not towering and egg-like. It's large enough to envelope the Trident and its crew, but small enough people can't shoot through it unless they're literally kissing the Side of the Trident, or Crouching on top of it.
Either one durability, or has Bow, Stern, Port, and Starboard shield segments. The latter is more like STO's.
Recharge using Pylon or Recast.
OP Trident Crew - with above upgrade (NewCastle)
NewCastle, Rampart, and Watson trio, grab a Trident.
NewCastle uses Castle Wall on the Trident, gives it a shield.
Watson uses Pylon on the hood, defending against artillery and grenades, and recharging the shield when it's hit by gunfire.
Rampart adds a turret to the back.
WAR BUGGYYYYYYY
Amped Seats acceptable? Rampart adds ampwall to the seats and ornament. Turret can't use ornament because the Pylon's in the way. At least the passenger will have amped shots.
Possible Extra: For a duration, 20-30 seconds? (the duration of Castle Wall Charged duration) Nearby Enemies take 20 electric damage from the Trident
Also, the shield is visibly arcing with energy to show it's charged
OP Trident Crew - with above upgrade (Rampart)
Rampart and Watson, random other
Rampart uses all 3 charges to shield the Trident, or one charge per side (4 total)
Rampart adds turret to the back
Watson Pylon's the hood
Possible Extra: The Shield is orange on outside and blue on inside, and amps outgoing shots. That's even more OP than NewCastle's, technically.
Allow Rampart to place the turret facing backwards for escape fights.
Allow Rampart to buff the Trident Turret with a Gun Shield, possibly also amping it as well, so that it doesn't rely on a terribly positioned hood wall.
Guard the turret person so they aren't killed off in half a second by someone machine gunning from 3+ (city/town part of Olympus Map) distance away.
I honestly think they were hacking, no machine gun is that accurate at that distance. I leased 2 mags towards and equally distant spot and didn't hit anyone even though they were clearly seen. Sniper did the trick though.
Allow Rampart to place turret on hood for Driver to use. This one would be buffed/amped by Ornament Amp Wall. Faces only forward and has little to no variation of how it can aim. It is fired by Ammo Swapping between Boost and Hood Turret. Brake is Always equipped.
OP Trident - Rampart
Part 1
Rampart gets more ammo and faster reload for Hood Turret, as it's the same thing as anywhere else. Possibly an ADS cam when firing it, just to see where the unaimable turret is firing, mostly useful during winding up.
Rampart places turret, hood ornament, and passenger ampwalls.
Later on Rampart places Turret on rear, forward facing. They are the doom machine.
OR She places it backwards because others tend to chase them down. Might as well shoot them as you're driving away.
With rear turret placed, the amp walls it allowing the ally manning it to be guarded as they fire.
Part 2, version 1
With her super ampwalling capability, she uses all 3 charges to give the entire Trident a shield, or better yet Amp Shield.
Part 2, version 2
Rampart uses more amp walls to add shield segments to the Trident. Oh no! She has a limit of 5 and that would require a total of 8! Now she's gotta pick which buffs she wants to grant, individual or group? Eh, why not just grant herself a cockpit shield for the fun of it. Mostly for design as it's hardly protection. Unless it will take the damage that's supposed to be directed at the driver, then it'd be decent protection. If someone can magically snipe the driver directly, then it'd also protect from that as well as that's the main thing it'd protect from, but since no one can really do that, if it's even possible, that'll be mostly useless.
Part 2, version 3
NewCastle uses Castle Wall on the Trident to give it bubble shield. Can Rampart add cockpit shield? So OP now.
Compromise, Watson's Pylon or a Turret for the Driver? Players must decide themselves.
Turret = better damage output
Pylon = defense against artillery and recharge the super shield.
