Assault: Quake ultimate and Bash effects
Only one ultimate can be chosen, would prefer Boxed In and Support Class with bashing effects
Name: TBA
Codename(s): Brick, TBA
Subtext/Title(s): Solid Wall, TBA
Passives:
He has a shield on his back that increases in HP based on Knockdown Shield, but it's solid not energy based.
Brick Shield Blocks damage at all times, suffering the damage instead the character.
Has a hitbox, so it doesn't block absolutely every shot.
Hitbox covers most of the character. Be it on his back or held in front.
Shield regens about as fast as Watson's shields. Should I call it Brick? It basically is a Brick.
Prioritizes healing character over repairing shield.
Syringes repair the Brick Shield 25%. Excess healing transfers over to repairing shield.
Medkits repair the Brick Shield 100%. Excess healing transfers over to repairing shield.
Phoenix kits not only give full restore to health and shields, but also fully repairs the Brick Shield.
Knockdown Shield bonus to shield:
White = 100
Blue = 150
Purple/Gold = 200
Crouching with shield out expands it and locks you in place, "Dig In"
180 degrees forward completely protected by shield
also occurs when reviving allies, or being revived by anyone other than NewCastle
Mirage's Cloak also cloaks the shield
press activation button while downed to toggle Dig In or normal crouch moving
knockdown shield available either way, for better protection angling in case they bypass the Dug In Brick Shield
Brick Shield is a PASSIVE TOGGLE, so for PC, the H key
The shield is used on back unless brought out with a Light Weapon, like Pistols, Mozambique, Alternator, and possibly other SMGs. Also when weapons are stowed.
The Shield cannot be used with two-handed weaponry like snipers, marksmans, ARs, LMGs, most shotguns, and possibly some of the SMGs and therefore remains on his back.
FORTIFIED: yes, he's fortified.
Also: Sprinting with Brick Shield out has special effects
Charge forward at double to triple normal sprint speed for 3-5 seconds, then cannot sprint for 6-15 seconds (double-triple duration charged)
Charging into an opponent deals 50 damage, partially blinds them for a moment, and stuns them. Free kill, if you're fast enough. Stun lasts 2-3 seconds. Partial Blinding for 0.5-1 second(s).
Melee with shield out is a shield bash. Slower melee charge time, it deals 40 damage, partialy blinding the opponent for 0.5 sec, and stun for 1 sec. Timers may be reduced if that gets too OP.
Damage his shield takes effects Evo Shields like Gibraltar's Arm Shield or Dome Shield, Rampart's Amp Wall, or NewCastle's Castle Wall... They Don't upgrade Evo Shields.
Then again, it might... Because it's repaired by med items.
Also, for a bit of balancing, while the shield is out front he is slowed.
Tactical: Quick Repair
Use a Syringe to have double effect compared to normal. It now heals 50%, 25% to health and 25% to shield. Excess health restore carries over to shield.
Also 1/2 - 3/4 time required to use the Syringe, making it better mid-combat.
If you cancel mid-usage, the ability does not go on cooldown and a syringe is not consumed.
If you have no syringes, Then it adds 50 repair points to the medkit. Again reduces usage timer by 2/3 - 3/4.
If neither of those are present, It reduces the usage timer of the phoenix kit by 2/3 - 4/5.
If none of the above are present it will use a shield cell to repair 20%. If that's not present a shield battery to repair75%.
Cooldown: 20-30 seconds.
Ultimate V1: Boxed In
Summon Barriers around you centered on you. Looks Similar to NewCastle's Castle Wall, but not as wide and is a square, covering all sides.
Double his Castle Wall, merge the two end pieces while shaping it circular, then crease the 4 tall parts into 90 degree angles and straighten edges into more square like... That's Boxed In.
No, he doesn't jump to his allies. He just opens placement and confirms he wants it there, just so he knows where he's putting it and how it'll look.
I say again it's centered on him. Placement is only so he knows he's not wasting any of the edges of his ability.
Bonus Effect: If he's atop a downed ally, then he can look at them and place it. It will summon a dome completely protecting him and the one he's reviving. But, they are also locked in there until they either Hold H to destroy, melee to destroy, or shoot it to destroy, or it gets busted off them. Good perk with being locked in: Great time to heal up. Bad perk: Firewall incoming or enemy squad camping on you.
Mk2: Always places dome, always trapping yourself and may be used to trap allies as well, such as downed allies you revive with it
Press H in placement mode to toggle dome off
Opening placement ALWAYS has dome turned on, even if you turned it off the last time you pulled it out and stowed it
Ultimate V2: Quake
Stomp the ground and the area around you shakes and quakes. Enemies become unstable and slowed, with their cameras moving in various directions.
Enemy Bricks are resistant to Quake, but not immune.
Opponents can crouch to reduce the effects from Quake. Sliding is only half as effective as crouching.
Enemies who fall off ledged take damage from falling, Horizon takes reduced damage. Brick can keep his climbing hold for longer than others, and takes reduced fall damage, but not as reduced as Horizon. Revenant can keep a hold a lot longer than anyone else, as he's the climbing pro. Everyone's climbing potential is halved during Quake.
Horizon's lift and airborne folk are not effected by Quake, as they are not touching the ground. Does not apply to people falling because of faulty climbing caused by Quake.
Banner Badge:
"Party Popper" no... "Clown Mobile" not mobile... whatever... Name TBA
How to achieve: Use the dome to trap your whole Trio, and then all 3 of you fire upon the enemies when they bust it
Greater Tier: Your Trio downed/eliminated the 3 opponents in the squad that busted your dome
"Group Hug": Trap your whole Trio in the Dome of your Barricade
Alternate Functionality
While in Placement Mode, Press H to toggle Dome placement on or off, default on, does Not save when you stow placement because you may pull it out to Dome an ally the next time and won't have time to toggle it
