HOW TO SUCCEED IN LITERATURE | LEARNING IN SUBJECTS | PAGE 162
The goal of a literature curriculum is to develop your appreciation of a wide range of literary texts from different genres. You’ll learn how to analyse critically but will develop personal preferences along the way. The more widely you read, the more cultural reference points you’ll have. No two schools teach the exact same texts but it’s likely your curriculum will span some classic plays and novels and some poetry, alongside contemporary examples. Embrace that richness, enjoying each one as a reading experience.
