SOME SUGGESTIONS & PROMPTS | IN THE CLASSROOM | PAGE 52
Teachers often support students with learning by suggesting phrases or words to use in your answers and discussions. This is a form of scaffolding. It provides you with temporary help to produce high-quality responses so that, after some practice, you’ll be able to succeed without help. Try to use these phrases deliberately to help you give well-expressed, structured responses. Over time you’ll begin to use them more spontaneously.
