EXEMPLARS.
COMPARING EXAMPLES THAT ILLUSTRATE THE STANDARDS | FEEDBACK & IMPROVEMENT | PAGE 64
Exemplars are pieces of work produced by other students or a teacher representing a certain standard of the type of work that you’re going to do yourself. They help establish your goal when setting out to do a task. Excellent exemplars are there to show you what’s possible and to guide you on the way as you produce your own work. Use them for inspiration. Lower-standard exemplars help you to identify the features of excellence because you can see gaps and problems compared to better examples.
