WORKED EXAMPLES.
LEARNING FROM TEACHERS' MODELLED EXAMPLES | IN THE CLASSROOM | PAGE 46
Teachers often explain something by running through a series of worked examples of the types of problem that you’re being taught to do yourself. The first step is to understand what the teacher has done in their examples; the next step is to try for yourself, applying the same line of reasoning. This is usually easier if you’ve seen a few worked examples of the same kind to make sure the method or general approach is clear.
