WAYS TO PRACTISE SPEAKING | IN THE CLASSROOM | PAGE 58
Teachers will try to engage students in activities that support your learning through speech. A broad term for expressing your ideas through speech is oracy. In each activity, you’ll partly be learning the content — the curriculum content you’re talking about — and partly improving your confidence with speaking as a general skill. The more you engage, the more confident you’ll become.
