My Reflection 6/25/2009
I visited Savannah when I was in junior high with my girl scout troop, haters gonna hate. We visited the birth-home of the founder and did some sight seeing as well as touring. The Savannah heat was unlike any other that I had experienced, I remember feeling miserably hot and being told by the tour guide that " We don't sweat in Savannah, pigs sweat. We glisten darling." I loved the way they said water WAH-tah and carried fans every where they went. We went on a boat ride to see dolphin and every single one of us was asleep on the ride from heat exhaustion. I remember seeing the moss hanging from the trees and feeling very regal looking at the beautiful trees that filled the area. Overall this trip made me very excited to travel and see more of the world, just maybe parts of the world that were not as hot and humid.
