Reflection
Buenos Aires is a beautiful city that feels very european. The spanish that is spoken even sounds italian in tone and cafe culture is huge! Every single street had multiple cafes, parks, cute little shops, and big beautiful trees that line every road. Life feels slower there than it is in the states. People wave their kids off to school on the buses before beginning their work days. We were able to see the dichotomy of life when visiting Caminto in La Boca. The largest soccer stadium is situated right next to communities that very obviously are underserved. It really made us reflect on our lives and the lives of others. All in all, this trip was eye opening and I am glad that it was my first South America experience.
