Reflection 2/15-17
My best friend and I went to Fort Myers and Miami for some much needed sunshine and fun. We began our trip in Fort Myers enjoying the fresh air, food, drinks, and beach. We watched the sunset and walked along the beach before getting ready for dinner. We went to the Salty Crab where she enjoyed crab in Florida. We walked around the downtown area and enjoyed ice cream before calling it a night. The next morning we drove to Miami. We enjoyed the Wynwood art district and murals, drove through the art deco district, went to little havana, had lunch, and drove to the beach. We ate dinner at Havana 1957 and ended the night with mojitos at the Miami Mojito company. Tacos were a must after multiple mojitos and the tacos we had were by far the best I have had in my life thus far from Coyo. This trip was full of sunshine, good music, and great company. Always look forward to the next trip with my bestie who loves to travel. My Reflection 6/2014
While I still have not made my way to Disney World, I have visited Florida on a mission trip for Catholic Heart Work camp to help restore homes and community buildings in the Melbourne area. I worked directly with Habitat for Humanity at their resale store and at building sites helping build a wall and clean up the construction inside the home. Volunteering for the week did not truly showcase Florida but it gave me insight in to the people that live in and near this area. They all had the purest hearts and wanted to give as much of themselves as humanly possible to others. My team was able to make it to the beach for a day in the sun before heading back home and it was exactly what we needed. I am dreaming of visiting Florida again for Miami, Disney, and the Keys.WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER- ORLANDO IN JULY
