My Reflection 12.18.18

Munich, Germany during Christmas time is something out of a Hallmark movie. The Christmas markets can be found around every turn and the smell of roasted nuts fill the air. Hand made bavarian ornaments and trinkets can be found at stands throughout the markets and delicious treats are nearby at all moments. The architecture and ornate decor in the landmark buildings here invite visitors to learn the stories of these places and allow you to imagine history. Most of the city is being rebuilt to reflect the origins of the city. The people are kind and Danke is heard in almost every conversation. The pretzels appear to be hard but contain the softest bread beneath the crust and that is truly all one can ask for. I am looking forward to my next visit to this country, perhaps to Berlin or Frankfurt.
