My Reflection 7/9/19
Paris, France, the city of love, macaroons, cigarette smoke, and architecture that flirts by nature. I had the privilege of spending one day in Paris with a co-worker exploring the city and soaking in the views. I immediately knew this was a city and country I would like to return to one day. The people were surprisingly sweet, the streets called you in at every turn, and the way the city sparkled at night was something out of an Audrey Hepburn movie. Romance is purely in the air, even if you are not there with a lover, you will feel a sense of sweetness in the delicate architecture, the pastel colors at each corner, and the music that surrounds the iconic landmarks of the city. We decided to take a hop on hop off bus around the city to see the most important parts of the city and it was the greatest idea for our 24 hours. We stopped at the Opera, stood in places of iconic french figures in history, and were captivated by iconic places like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Arc. You can feel the history in European cities like this and it is definitely something to experience in your lifetime. Looking forward to visiting the city of love again in the future. Until then, tu es adorable Paris, au revoir.
