Thank you for choosing yourself! Deciding to seek counseling could be scary at first but could turn out to be something beautiful in the end. My name is Rhonda Wilson, and my goal is to help guide you in the direction that is beneficial for your mental health. I love to utilize techniques focusing on the here and now and helping you uncover those uncomfortable parts in your life that continue to affect your mental health. Teaching self-care techniques like meditation, prayer, journaling, and more are utilized in my sessions to help you continue your mental health growth without me present. I am a strong advocate of Empowerment, motivation, and self-esteem boosting as these techniques can give you the confidence that you can do anything with a little bit of work and consistency.
I am a Mental Health Counselor with an abundance of training in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, marital/relationship issues, and low self-esteem. In my therapy sessions, I utilize Person-center and Reality therapy, but I do have training in other areas. I love what I do and love witnessing the change someone has in session.
So I welcome you to come on this journey with me, and hopefully, as a team, we can work together to develop a better version of yourself.
