LMHC

I received an MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College (2007), and a Master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College (2020). I have experience working with people struggling with substance abuse and mental illness. I have worked with multiple populations, cultures, religions, genders, and socioeconomic statuses and I am open to experiencing even more. Additionally, I am comfortable working with criminal recidivists that are struggling to adjust to the demands of society as well as first responders or veterans trying to overcome PTSD.

I like to use a client-centered approach, utilizing different evidenced-based practices to meet the individual’s specific needs, preferences, and cultural expectations. One of the hardest steps is seeking help! Don’t minimize the way you feel.  Everyone is on their own journey, why not make it more enjoyable. Once you are here, I will help you to gain insight on your emotions, thoughts and behaviors as well as finding better ways to manage difficult emotions, relationships and everyday struggles.
