You deserve to have a space where you feel listened to, understood, and safe. Perhaps you have been taught that seeking help outside the family is culturally taboo. Maybe others have made snap judgments about you based on your appearance or made insensitive comments about your culture. Or you’ve been bullied or singled out because of how you speak or how you look, and you feel like you don’t belong anywhere. You may feel a constant need to prove you are worthy of being loved, sometimes resulting in high self-criticism or perfectionism. Without a safe space to express your emotions, you may keep them in or struggle with expressing anger or grief, as well as trouble with intimacy and affection in friendships and romantic relationships.

If any of these feel true, I relate and I am here for you. I believe the foundation of therapy is genuine connection, collaboration, and being culturally informed. Through our work together, you will learn more about yourself, how you relate to others, how you relate to yourself (self-compassion), and how to develop healthy coping skills to deal with stressors and ultimately lead a fulfilling life.

Experience: Prior to the mental health field, I worked as a Customer Success Manager/Account Manager at various healthcare and corporate/tech start-ups for several years. Looking to improve clients’ lives in a more personal approach, I switched careers and obtained a Master’s Degree in Counseling for Mental Health & Wellness from New York University.
