Federal, State and Local municipalities require that we maintain certain permits/licenses throughout the calendar year. These licenses can vary by locale. The General Manager is responsible for ensuring that all licensing remains current. This includes the renewal of and display as per regulatory guidelines.

Initial Licensing
Due to the requirement of owner's signatures on initial licensing, HQ will be responsible for the following at the time of closing on a property acquisition:
Add a new property tab to the Licensing and Permits Spreadsheet containing the following:
License Name
Issuing Authority
Length of License
Expiration Date
Create and store a list of all licenses within SharePoint
Campground Folder
Subfolder: Licenses
Subfolder: Year
Subfolder: Agency Names
All documentation including copies of checks, applications and correspondence should be uploaded into these folders
Initial Application/Transfer of Licenses
Manager@ email addresses will be used for all applications ensuring that renewals or issues are sent directly to the General Manager
HQ address will be used for contact address
HQ phone number will be used
HQ will order all checks and submit all necessary documents
Licenses should be delivered to the property via email with Hard Copies being delivered to HQ
Upon receipt, General Manager will:
Scan a copy of the license into the appropriate SharePoint folder
Print out and frame the license displaying it in a conspicuous place
Annual Renewals
Notification of renewals are typically sent via email. These will be delivered to the General Manager who will:
Complete the application
Print and sign it
Scan and email a copy of the application to ap@spaciousskies.com for processing
Request that the check be mailed to the campground
Once received the campground will scan a copy of the check and renewal paperwork into their licensing folder
General Manager will deliver the renewal paperwork and check to the appropriate authority
Once the license is received the General Manager will:
Scan a copy of the license into the appropriate folder within SharePoint
Replace the most recent license with the new license and display in a conspicuous place
Store the expired license on-site
Update the list of licenses contained within the GM SharePoint folder to reflect the new expiration date
If the renewal application is sent via mail to New Jersey, HQ will be responsible for scanning and emailing the license to the property using the manager@ email address with a copy to the Regional Manager
