Test multiple locations in the park for Wi-Fi connection and speeds.
Operation Standards
● How will the work described in the service level be done?
Size and configuration of the campground will determine the number of tests that need to be performed, but not limited to the following:
Pool/Beach Area
Pavilion
Arcade
Bath Houses
Office/Store
Each RV/Camping section
Seasonal Areas
Transient Areas
Use the iPad or tablet
Open Google Chrome
Open Google Speed Test
Hit “Run Speed Test”
Document Results on the Wi-Fi Speed Test Log
Location
Download Speed
Upload Speed
Park Occupancy
Repeat steps above ensuring each major location in the park is tested
Be sure to disconnect and reconnect the testing device in each area
Wi-Fi Speed Uses
1-5 Mbps for checking email and browsing the web
15-25 Mbps for streaming HD video
40-100 Mbps for streaming 4K video and playing online games
200+ Mbps for streaming 4K video, playing online games, and downloading large files
