SOP - Pre and Post Rental Procedures for Golf Carts
Service Level
Why is the work described in the service level needed?
To provide an advertised amenity for our guests that helps them get around easier and
enjoy their stay at a Spacious Skies Campground.
What is to be done?
Golf Cart Rental Fleet shall be kept charged/full of fuel and parked up front each day in a
place that attracts and entices Campers to rent them. Rental Fleet shall be kept clean
and ready for service at all times.
Operation Standards
How will the work described in the service level be done?
When doing a walk around review of The Waiver with a Camper, in addition to getting
their signature and acknowledging any existing damage, it is our duty to do a little
training also.
The guest should be informed of the basic functions of The Golf Cart.
Forward and Reverse Functionality
Park Brake function and importance of its use each time The Golf Cart is parked.
Any light switches.
If The Golf Cart is electric-provide the guest with The Charging Unit and show them how to use it.
This is a good opportunity to review the rules and etiquette as listed on The Waiver.
When a Camper returns a rented Golf Cart.
Check condition of The Golf Cart in comparison to the original walk around.
Look for any new scratches or dents.
Check the windshield for damage.
Check the lights, bumper’s, body panels, and seat cushions for any damage.
Check the tires and wheels for any damage.
If necessary, reference The Waiver if there is a question about any pre-existing damage.
When is the work described in the service level to be done and when is it not to be done?
Each and every time a Golf Cart is rented from or returned to The Campground’s rental fleet.
Who is to do it?
Maintenance or Front Desk team member based on availability.

To provide an advertised amenity for our guests that helps them get around easier and enjoy their stay at a Spacious Skies Campground. To protect our investment and The Camper’s interests.
What is to be done?
Gather signed Golf Cart Waiver’s from each guest that rent’s or brings their own golf cart on a Spacious Skies Campground.
Operation Standards
How will the work described in the service level be done?
If the guest is renting a golf cart:
Have The Guest fills out the top portion of the Golf Cart Waiver at the front desk, make sure to specify which golf cart the guest will be using (#) as well as the dates the golf cart will be rented. A team member should walk outside with the guest and complete the walk around, noting any damage, at which point The Waiver should be signed by both the guest and the team member. The Waiver should be scanned and saved into The Guest’s profile in Campspot.
If the guest brought their own golf cart:
At the front desk, have The Guest complete the information section of the Golf Cart Waiver and sign the bottom. The Waiver should be scanned and saved into the Guest’s profile in Campspot.
When is the work described in the service level to be done and when is it not to be done?
Anytime a guest rents a golf cart from the rental fleet or brings their own golf cart to a Spacious Skies Campground.
Who is to do it?
Front Desk team and/or maintenance team for walk around.
