STEPHANIE CUDDINGTON

Stephanie Cuddington has been involved extensively with the Saskatchewan Games for over 30 years and it all began in 1980 at the Saskatchewan Summer Games in Estevan where she competed in track and field. She went on to work at every Games event from 1988 to 2018 - four times as a Mission Staff member and 12 as Chef de Mission. Her dedication to the sporting community led her to her current role as Executive Director at the Prairie Central District for Sport where she enjoys “being an integral part of a sport network that provides opportunities for athletes to succeed in sport.” Recounting her deep-rooted Games experience, Stephanie says she valued watching the host communities and volunteers come together for a common goal of putting on a high-calibre production. As for the event's legacy, she says it lives on through a combination of individual athlete experiences, dedicated volunteers, facilities in host communities and the lifelong friendships that they create.
