The school is a very important part in a child’s life. It is a place for learning, for discovering, for making friends, and even for having fun. Children go to different schools.

What are the different places in school?

There are many places in school that make our learning useful and enjoyable.

1. library where books, magazines, and newspapers are found. We go to the library to read and to search for materials for our lessons.

2. Classroom.  The classrooms are big, spacious, and well-ventilated, so they are conducive to learning.

3. Computer room with many computers for the pupils. Computers make lessons fun and interesting.

4. School gym where we usually hold our physical education classes. We can also play in the gym, but we have to observe care and safety.

5.  School canteen is at the ground floor of one of the buildings. It serves nutritious but cheap food.

6.  Auditorium where school programs like academic programs, stage plays, and school concerts are held.

7. Audio-visual room where we watch movies and documentary films.

8. Garden where we can find different kinds of flowers and trees. This is also a good place to rest and relax. It makes the school greener and cooler.

9. Comfort rooms are a necessity in every school. Our school has many comfort rooms, which are found on every floor of the building. They are always clean and with enough supply of water. The pupils are oriented on how to use the comfort rooms properly for good health and proper sanitation. There are separate comfort rooms for boys and girls.
