DISCUSSION
Gender - is a term used to differentiate between male and female nouns.
TYPES OF GENDER:
Masculine gender - A noun is said to be masculine gender if it refers to a male character or member of a species.
Examples: a. A boy is playing in the playground.
b. My father is working in the garden.
(uncle, tito, Angelito, James, grandfather, brother, Sir Alan, boy, lion, tiger, man)
Feminine gender - A noun is said to be feminine gender if it refers to a female character or member of a species.
Examples: a. A girl is playing the piano in the mall.
b.The woman across the street is my aunt.
(mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, empress, queen, princess, tigress, lioness)
Common gender - It refers to a member of a species which can be a male or a female.
Examples: child, student, learners, friend, applicant, teacher, member, employee
Neuter gender - It refers to objects, or are non-living things.
Examples: chair, table, paper, computer, tree, star, mountain, book, car, school

REAL LIFE APPLICATION
The idea about what gender is can be found everywhere, surrounding each and every child, and influencing their young minds. Early on, they start expressing their identity through clothing, hairstyle, games and their use of toys. And understanding the basic gender words will help them also categorize the world around them.
EVALUATION
