As a member of the GCSF, you are freely able to explore dungeons as you partake in missions or search for recruits to join your team! Completing dungeons will allow you to:
✦ Level up your team members!
✦ Encounter new potential recruits for your team!
✦ Complete missions and earn Poke!
✦ Find rare, transformative items to spice up your character's look!
Mystery Dungeons are ever-changing locations scattered throughout the realm with strange, magical properties. They have existed for centuries and some even hold historical significance, having been the site of major world-altering events in the past. However, the dungeons of today may not necessarily look like the dungeons of years past as the layout of any given dungeon can change unexpectedly!
You may enter a dungeon on a given day and return only 24 hours later to find that the entrance has shifted slightly. Corridors that once led down twists and turns may become straight paths to the next area. Likewise, dungeons may remain unaltered for weeks, months, or years before suddenly changing it up on you!
Members of the adventuring guilds around the world -- including the GCSF -- as well as aspiring spelunkers and explorers venture into these strange lands for any number of reasons. Some are seeking treasure, others hope to make discoveries and breakthroughs. Often, there are all sorts of non-adventuring folk who seek out those bold enough to make the journey in search of artifacts, items, or even missing peoples in need of a rescue.
The possibilities are endless when it comes to the exploration of a Mystery Dungeon, and the GCSF is here to get to the bottom of it all!
You can find a full list of dungeons and recruits split across the pages linked below!

Though many dungeons contain dangerous environs and hostile inhabitants, many more are home to small communities and settlements that have grown used to their surroundings.
Within some dungeons, there are safe pockets that will forcibly transform people back into their humanoid forms -- as though they have exited the dungeon entirely. These small areas have become the main living space of those who inhabit the dungeon. Some are as small as a single establishment, and others may be large enough to accomodate an entire village.
Immediately upon leaving a pocket and venturing back out into the dungeon, you will be changed back into your feral form.
Dungeons are always available to run as an activity (unless otherwise stated).
They serve as a the primary way you can accomplish a number of things for your character(s), such as:
Every completed dungeon will award each participating team between 1 and 5 levels for their team members!
You can also use items like the Wonder Chest or Tera Orb to gain even more levels once a month in a dungeon!
Leveling up gives you access to more of your character's learnset, evolution, and lets you explore higher-level dungeons with rare item rewards for recruits and customization!
After completing a dungeon, each participating team is guaranteed a random Pokemon encounter. You can recruit this Pokemon to your team right away, dismiss them outright, or simply wait until you're ready to invite them to the team!
By using a Golden Mask, you are able to choose the exact Pokemon you wish to encounter in a dungeon!
Recruiting Pokemon is how you can add new characters to your team!
Every dungeon grants Poke depending on the amount of effort put into piece! By using a Lost Loot item, you can even gain a bonus of +5,000p once per month!
Exploring dungeons for Level 90+ characters allows you to discover Potions or Juices that can be used to apply a Variant to your character!
If you manage to get your hands on a Wishing Star, you can choose the exact item you're looking for!
There are a number of items that can be used within the dungeon itself that grant a bonus once per month. These items are marked at the time of submission, but a few of them require specific art/writing requirements! Click on an item name for more info on each one.
✦ Golden Mask (1/month). This item allows a team to choose which Pokemon you would like to encounter in a given dungeon.
Cannot be used in Heroic/Level 80+ or Legendary/Level 90+ Potion dungeons.
✦ Lost Loot (1/month). This item grants a flat +5,000p bonus to the team that uses it. If you have multiple teams of your own teams in a single dungeon, you can only use the Lost Loot on one of those teams to avoid stacking Poke bonuses in one submission.
✦ Wonder Chest (1/month). This item grants a flat +5 Levels bonus to the team that uses it.
✦ Tera Orb (1/month). This item grants a flat +10 Levels bonus to the team that uses it. If a team wishes to use it, one of the team members must be depicted in their Terastallized form.
Multiple teams can use a Tera Orb in one dungeon, but the same art/writing restrictions apply.
✦ Wishing Star (1/month). This item allows a team to choose which Potion or Juice they would like to find in a given Legendary dungeon. If a team wishes to use it, one of the team members must be depicted in their Dynamax or Gigantamax form (if applicable).
Cannot be used in dungeons below Level 90.
Multiple teams can use their own Wishing Stars in one dungeon, but the same art/writing restrictions apply.
A party exploring a dungeon can only have up to 4 participating characters!
Group NPCs do not count against this total and can be depicted alongside your characters!
Similarly, generic or unnamed non-player characters like randomly encountered Pokemon from the dungeon can be depicted freely!
Dungeon submissions can be done as writing/roleplay or art pieces created solo or in a group with collaborators!
You must depict the characters within the dungeon environment somehow, but interactions and party dynamics are entirely up to you!
Dungeons can only be completed in feral form! All characters must be depicted in their feral forms for a submission to be accepted!
At minimum, an illustrated dungeon must have a background and base color or values. See Feral Character Visibility Requirements for more details!
Written dungeons follow a loose minimum of around 500 words per writer.
All dungeons must contain at least 1 approved character belonging to a group member. NPCs on their own do not count!
✦ One dungeon per submission. You are only allowed to submit for one dungeon at a time, meaning you can't have two frames of the same piece showing two different dungeons!
✦ Approved characters only. Do not include characters that have not had an application approved in a dungeon! The Dungeon Grader will prevent you from selecting unapproved recruits, but they cannot be included as cameos either!
✦ Pay attention to level requirements. Some dungeons have level requirements of at least 80+ or 90+. Be sure to check that your character is able to explore those dungeons before you submit a piece that includes them!
✦ Earnings cap at 7 characters for art. Poke and Candy rewards are rewarded per Pokemon shown up to 7 total. The max you can earn in Poke for an art piece is 1,350p and the max Candy you can earn for an art piece is 350c.
In order to submit your dungeon piece, you must use the Dungeon Grader.
The grader is a small web application built into the group site that will allow you to:
✦ Choose which characters are exploring the dungeon
✦ Choose the destination you would like to explore
✦ Select items your team is using (if applicable)
✦ Link to your submission and calculate your earnings
✦ Automatically roll for your team's recruit or allow you to choose your recruit/reward (if using certain items)
✦ Submit the results to the group's records, posting them in the #grading-logs channel
Essentially, it is a calculator that pulls information from the group's records to streamline the submission and grading process. The grader is required to make submissions to the group, and so understanding it is essential!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the #questions channel or via #submit-a-ticket. Be sure to check the Grading Questions in the FAQ before sending in a question!
After completing a dungeon, each participating team is guaranteed to have encountered one of the recruitable Pokemon found in the specified dungeon.
This recruit is logged as part of the post made to #grading-logs, and the recruit will remain available indefinitely!
The recruit will only be made unavailable if:
✦ You decide to dismiss the recruit entirely (this is irreversable!)
✦ You accept the recruit onto your team
All recruit inquiries are done through the #inventory channel on the Discord server!
To request a dismissal or recruitment, simply link to the post from #grading-logs that confirms your submission and all rewards (including recruit) and let us know what you would like to do with the recruit.
After a dungeon has been completed, you can also use certain items to affect your recruitment result(s)! All usable post-dungeon items are listed below. Click on the item name for more information!
✦ Poke Radar. Can be used after completing a dungeon to find 2 more recruits from the same dungeon. Duplicates are re-rolled. You can only accept 1 of the total 3 recruits rolled.
✦ Encounter Swap. Can be used after completing a dungeon collaboration to freely swap recruits between all participants.
Recruit Tokens are items that can be used to roll for a randomized recruit. Some Recruit Tokens are entirely random, allowing you to roll from a complete list of Pokemon that are available as recruits (base stage, non-Legendary, non-Mythic, non-Paradox, non-Event). Other tokens may specify a certain category that you will be rolling from.
Some categories include specific type or specific generation (using the National Pokedex as a guide). At times, tokens that allow for rolling between Event Variants may become available as well as Recruit Tokens that will let you simply choose the exact recruit you would like.
Recruit Tokens can be found in all Heroic/Level 80+ dungeons, and some maybe included as part of a dungeon's Recruitable Pokemon list.
Recruit Pokemon act as new characters to add to your roster. Following the same Character Creation rules and guidelines from when you joined, you create an application for them and submit it via #submit-a-ticket's Character Submission option when you are ready.
Recruit applications do not require the level of detail that leader applications have in terms of personality or history, but they still require all sections filled in! Be sure to review the character creation guidelines if you need a refresher on how to make characters for the group!
The below calculator can be used to estimate how much Poke you will earn for your submission.
It is only used for planning, and will not roll or submit results to the group!
