There are currently a total of 141 dungeons available to explore within the group.
There is no definitive, single appearance for any of them -- as is the nature of ever-shifting Mystery Dungeons. The dungeons are almost entirely up to interpretation for both artists and writers alike. Still, having a visual sample is helpful for those who may need more than just a written description to get started, or it may just be plain old fun to see the ways members of the group depict the different dungeons!
We're looking to create a gallery of dungeon examples for the group! Volunteers can submit artwork of the various dungeons available to explore to group members, and receive a Poke bonus for their efforts!
Collabs are allowed, and even submitting old artwork is allowed! See the Submission Details below for more details.
This the first of what will be a recurring event! Each batch will have a soft deadline, but it's just to give participants a goal to work towards -- it's completely fine to miss a deadline, but any reservations for particular dungeons will be dropped and reset at the start of the next batch!
The deadline for Batch 2 will be September 30 at 11:59PM EST!
To see all the current submissions and slot reservations, see the Dungeon Art Turn-in Event Tracker (opens a Google Spreadsheet)!
✦ Current submissions are shown as thumbnails in the row for each dungeon. Credits are in the cell notes!
✦ Reserved slots list the names of the user(s) involved in the art piece! See Reserving a Dungeon Slot below for more information.
✦ A list of dungeon submissions and reservations for each participant is under User Submissions page of the tracker.
When a row is highlighted in red, that means that person has reached the maximum number of submissions for the batch!
✦ Choose a dungeon from the Dungeon List and draw a background set in it based on the description! They're all linked below!
All 141 dungeons are available to choose from!
(Some dungeons on the linked pages may already have some samples as well!)
✦ As dungeons do not have any set definitive appearance, what it looks like is entirely up to your interpretation!
✦ The piece cannot feature any player characters, but can feature generic Pokemon NPCs from the list of Recruitable or Unrecruitable Pokemon and their respective evolutionary lines!
✦ Collabs are allowed, and there is no upper limit to how many people can collab on a single piece!
✦ Each dungeon is only allowed to have 4 submissions maximum to make sure we get a wide variety of submissions! If you're certain you want to complete a piece for a particular dungeon, you can reserve a slot for that dungeon. See Reserving a Dungeon Slot below for details!
✦ Each user may only submit up to 5 submissions per batch! Collabs and old artwork are included in this count.
✦ Old artwork is accepted, however only up to 3 old pieces of work can be submitted by a single person and it does count towards your 5 total submissions for a batch. Rewards also differ from new artwork -- see Participation Rewards below for details!
Since each dungeon is only allowed 4 submissions total, you can choose to reserve a slot for a dungeon if you're certain you want to make a piece for it! If you plan to collab with others on the piece, list out all your collaborators when you make a reservation!
To make a reservation, fill out the pinned form in the Dungeon Art Turn-in - Batch #2 [RESERVATIONS] thread in the #event-submissions channel!
Once a reservation has been made, you have until the end of the event to submit your work! You can drop your reservation at any point by posting in #questions to let a mod know. All reservations will be nulled at the end of the event, and if you haven't submitted anything for the dungeon, the slot will be opened for others to potentially reserve afterwards.
Reservations can only be made if you’re submitting new artwork!
To submit a completed dungeon illustration, post it in the Dungeon Art Turn-in - Batch #2 [SUBMISSIONS] thread using the pinned form! Be sure to list out each person who worked on the piece if it was a collab, and rewards will be distributed once an Advisor is available to go down the list!
As with the #grading-logs, a ✅ react will be added to your message once it's been processed.
✦ The piece must be completely new and has not been used before in a submission.
✦ Users who submit new illustrations will receive Poke based on how many submissions a dungeon already has! The fewer submissions a dungeon already has, the more you earn!
➣ For dungeons that have 0-1 submissions: 2500p for a simple background, and 5000p for a complex background.
➣ For dungeons that have 2+ submissions: 1500p for a simple background, and 3500p for a complex background.
🌟 See the Examples of Background Details to get an idea of what counts as a simple or complex background! 🌟
✦ The work can then be submitted to the Daily Life & Tasks Grader for proper grading!
✦ You cannot use pieces submitted to the event for regular dungeon submissions afterwards.
✦ The piece was previously submitted to the group and has already earned rewards.
✦ Old artwork submissions simply have the player characters removed and / or have had some minor edits made to it but it remains largely the same from the time it was submitted.
✦ Users who submit old illustrations will receive 1000p for a background (regardless of complexity).
✦ Unlike new artwork, old art cannot be resubmitted for grading rewards.
