You've gathered your team and prepared yourself to begin what may possibly be a very dangerous expedition into uncharted lands. Of the portals that have been made known to the GCSF and its allies, you've picked one out and made the trip all the way out to where it was supposed to be.
Once you're there, you find... a tent? There appears to be a merchant of sorts rummaging through a large chest sitting next to where he's set up a small stall. As he notices your approach, he pokes his head out of the tent and grins at you. You realize... you've met them before? Or at the very least, you've seen them around. There's something about them that's familiar.
What you do know for certain is this: they paid for your trip over to this island to pursue the portals. They've been paying for all of the GCSF's expedition expenses for this particular foray actually.
Oi, are you Expedition Society? Wigglytuff? Or Foundation?
No, wait. Actually, you're definitely from the Foundation. Never mind that.
The name's Odhran. Better known by my business name "Kecleon", heh heh. You've met me before I'm sure. Or at least you've met one o' the ones who's been running the shop back in Ethovalon for me while I've been on vacation so to speak.
Let's cut to the chase then, shall we?
For the month of May through the end of June 2024, there will be 4 new dungeons to explore!
But these aren't just any dungeon. These dungeons are only accessible via strange rifts in space that have been appearing all over the Great Sea. They come and go at seemingly random intervals, some never appearing more than once in a single location. These portals open up into great expanses -- entirely new dimensions that are riped to be explored.
These trips aren't just for fun though. With even Andromeda, the Mistress of Space, alarmed at the appearance of these new worlds, it's only natural that the GCSF and its allies are concerned with the potential dangers of such a phenomenon. So, it's up to you and your team to venture into the unknown and see what you can find!
Level Requirements || There are no level requirements for these dungeons. Characters of any level may participate!
Using Items || Monthly items such as the Golden Mask, Lost Loot, Wonder Chest, etc. cannot be used in these dungeons!
Depicting the Dungeon || Much like the regular dungeons, these worlds are all up to interpretation. A small description is provided to give you an idea or a place to start. Ultimately however, how you wish to interpret a location as unpredictable and volatile as Ultra Space is entirely up to you!
Available Pokemon || Recruiting from these dungeons is identical to how you would recruit from a regular dungeon -- that part is unchanged!
However, there is no definitive list of what unrecruitable Pokemon you may find out there. Feel free to take some liberties with the type of Pokemon you find out in the wild and don't feel confined to just using the recruitable list if you wish to portray some generic NPCs out there!
Bingo?! || Running concurrently and as part of this event, you can complete certain objectives on the Anniversary BINGO! 5 of the squares are related to running Ultra Space Wilds dungeons, so if any of your runs meet the requirements, you may be able to claim some rewards!
How to Submit || To submit an Ultra Space Wilds piece, use the Ultra Space Wilds Dungeon Grader! Detailed visual and text guides on how to use it are below on this page! The event dungeons will not be available in the regular Dungeon Grader.
🎵 The Mountain Trail (Night) || Sea of Stars 🎵
Towering peaks and jagged rock faces reign supreme in the Cliff World, climbing upwards into the infinite skies above them. You can see the distant shapes of figures flying in the distance and there are definite signs of life on these mountains. As you look over the edge to try and see the earth below, you find that it is nowhere to be seen; obscured by thick mists.
Who knows how high up you are.
Well... the only way to go from here is up.

🎵 Neath Dark Waters || Final Fantasy XIV 🎵
When you appear out of the portal, you find yourself surrounded by water. You stand atop an old, weathered stone that seems to be part of what may be old ruins. Around you -- thankfully -- there are other similar places where one could take a break.
Otherwise, there is just ocean as far as the eye can see. Who knows what other bodies of water may be out there amidst the tiny, scattered islands.
Who knows what may be lying in wait beneath the waves?

🎵 Elegy || Destiny: Rise of Iron 🎵
A world sculpted from the very earth and stones surrounds you on almost all sides. Massive boulders, towering spires, and intricate formations made of stone stretch across the land, weaving a labyrinth of rocky marvels for miles. As you wander the veritable bounty of stone before you, you find monuments and structures that appear to have been crafted but others simply defy explanation.
What power could have created such a place?

🎵 Arcane Tower || Baldur's Gate 3 🎵
The Cave World is made up of a sprawling expanse of seemingly endless interconnected caverns. Though most of it is as dark as you would expect a cave to be, you come across tiny groves filled with bioluminescent plantlife and shimmering crystals that emit some small amount of light. The sounds are unsettling as they echo off of the cramped tunnels and into the unknown.
Occasionally, you stop to try and remember which path you had taken, and you hear a voice calling out...
...and as suddenly as it had appeared, it vanishes once more.

As part of the deal that Odhran -- better known as good ol' Kecleon -- struck with the various adventuring guilds, he wishes to know what -- if anything -- you're able to find while out there in the Ultra Space Wilds!
When exploring an Ultra Space Wilds dungeon and submitting via the Ultra Space Wilds Dungeon Grader, there is a chance your team will come across an item! Items range in rarity from Common to Rare to Very Rare to... things that look like Common items but are actually just Lookalikes.
Odhran will offer to buy the item you discovered from you when you complete the dungeon, but you may also elect to keep the item!
Some items such as the common Berries, Seeds, and Orbs may just come in handy again some time in the future. Some items cannot be kept however and only sold such as the useless Lookalikes. Likewise, some items cannot be kept and only sold as their only use is in their value.
For a list of what items there are in the dungeon, see the lists below! Don't look if you want to be surprised though!!
% Chances to Find An Item
At the end of the dungeon, a 1d100 is rolled to determine whether you find an item and what that item may be.
✦ There is a 60% 85% chance you will find an item.
✦ There is a 40% 15% chance that you do not find an item.
If you find an item:
✦ There is a 5% 15% chance the item will be Very Rare.
✦ There is a 15% 35% chance the item will be Rare.
✦ There is an 80% 50% chance the item will be Common.
✧ If the item is Common, there is a 15% chance the item will be a Lookalike.
Note: These values are subject to change as the event carries on!
If we feel as though we want the drop-rate and/or selling value of items to be higher, the numbers will be adjusted accordingly!

NOTE:
Keeping an item does not put it into your inventory right away. The items acquired from this dungeon have no use for now and will be tracked separately.
They may have a use in a future event however!
Items that each team should have will most likely be added to player inventories after the event concludes (subject to change). After they have been added, any items acquired earned from the event can be sold if you decide you do not want to keep it after all.
Please understand that this is so we can figure out ways to make the inventory as manageable as possible for the moderators who frequently keep the inventories up-to-date for everyone. For the same reasons, only items that were previously used in the group such as common Berries, Seeds, Orbs as well as Tiny Reviver and Reviver Seeds are available to keep at this time.
For now though, know that you won't be missing out on anything even if keeping an item doesn't appear in your inventory immediately!
For those who need help using the new Dungeon Grader, some guides and examples are provided below! If there are any questions or issues regarding the Dungeon Grader, please send your inquiry to the #questions channel or via #submit-a-ticket!
❓ Why does the Dungeon Grader take so long to load?
The Dungeon Grader compiles all of the information from the group's members before it is ready to use. This means it's trying to get 90+ usernames, over 100 teams, almost 900 characters and their species and levels, as well as information on Monthly Items and if those items are available for use.
You just have to be patient as things load up for the first time! Subsequent submissions on the same browser session shouldn't take nearly as long to load but if you've left your browser idle for a while or if there have been changes made to the inventories since you last accessed the grader -- which happens frequently -- it'll take a second to get everything together.
Sorry for the inconvenience! If there is a way to speed up the process in the future, we'll be sure to explore those options!
❓ Why are Dungeons limited to only 4 characters?
In short, the group follows the theming and mechanics of the official Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games loosely. As teams in the games are limited to 4 party members, the parties here are similarly restricted in that way!
While only 4 characters may earn levels from participating in a dungeon, you are free to include cameos which will count towards your earnings.
❓ Where can I upload my submission to link in the Grader?
Anywhere that the submission can be publically viewed is perfectly fine to host your work on!
Some options include:
✦ DeviantART (you may also submit to the group's DA gallery in that case)
✦ Toyhou.se (be sure permissions are set to allow public viewing)
✦ Discord (either a direct link to the piece, or a link to a message that includes the image)
✦ Google Docs
